I don't really agree with that entire list but not surprised everyone has there own opinion. However the Female Quarian Engineer is far more useful than the ranking given here.

Indeed, this whole tier list is based on the class accessibility.

I'd have to say she is a tier below the fury. Many classes are when it comes to the n7 classes. Then again that's how it is when a new dlc comes out. Newest classes make the other look weak at 1st. Soon enough there are nerfs and failed buffs (see QFE) and then a new dlc comes out repeating the whole cycle yet again.

- Only ever good against phantoms. Which is easy to deal with
in current days with better classes and weapons. And BE nerf.

Any chance you could update the list?

Also what exactly is the list based on? Is it based on character success rate, damage, survivability, ease of use, team synergy? Also does the list take GOLD difficulty into account? (PLATINUM should be left out IMHO, because PLATINUM requires very specific builds if you want to be successful. I'd say there should be a seperate tier list for PLATINUM.

There are going to be some major hauls to the tier list. I am going to make a new thread on it when the Retaliation characters are almost done releasing.
For example the Drellguard and Slayer are definitely going to push up to rank A at least, as you can see from my guides on them in the sig.

It's based and will be based on overall effectiveness -
DPS, mobility, defense / survivability, CC ability, kit synergy, team synergy.........
However not so much on ease to use. It's IMO unfair to discredit the kit if a player himself couldn't execute the potential.
Which makes certain kits (namely the Vorcha) very hard to place. But I'll try to give my fair judgement.

Gold will be my guideline, as usual. A platinum tier list is easy because 90% is about the DPS dealt.
Many people mistaken me by placing a kit in lower tiers meaning that I ranked them "bad" or "suck".
There can hardly be any "bad" kits in gold. But different tiers based upon a kit's overall effectiveness? Definitely.

Also going to include a narida build for each of the characters so people can better gauge on why / how I rank them in each tiers.

I think any such list is bound to be awful. Playing a lot of supposedly underpowered characters with some frequency sort of gives me the impression that people generally just don't have a good grasp on how to play them yet if they declare anything unambiguously bad or even worse than other kits.

I don't think there's any way to make something like this even vaguely objective.
