I really blame them for not including female dwarves in DA II, whatever reason they had.
What I would like to see, too: different body types for the races, especially humans because we encounter them more often than every other race.
Its hard to take a world seriously in which every woman is thin with breasts that , imo, not really fit that thin type and every man being a muscular athletic. But thats likely not going to happen.

As for Kossith gals, Bioware's track record for doing models of other species females is poor. They completely ignored all females (besides humans, asari and Quarians in ME). Much like the females in ME, they found a way to write Kossith females out of the series, even before the first game was made.

Many people on this forum (including me) have been hinting that we want dwarves to be romanceable (Varric) and want to see a female kossith. What concerns me is the fact that we made the same requests before DA2 and none of them were implemented. I have two questions. Do you think that Bioware will implement those requests? Also why the resistance from Bioware? P.S. I would also love to have a Kossith LI but I doubt that Bioware would implement both dwarven LI and Kossith LI in the same game.
People make a lot of requests, particularly when it comes to romance. Heck, if we mentioned that we'd added a mailbox into the game someone would request a romance with it. So the fact that dwarven romances or female kossith (and/or romances with female kossith) have been requested by some is hardly remarkable.
Insofar as romances with dwarves go, we might add one at some point-- for the right character. I've joked about finding dwarf romance icky in the past, but I have no particular objection so long as the dwarf in question doesn't look child-like.
Insofar as female kossith go, we might also add one at some point. That would be awesome. I think their concept looks hawt.
Why haven't we done either of these things yet? Because we're doing other things, and we don't create whole plots or characters on demand nor do we do something solely because it hasn't been done. Eventually we're likely to do both.

Anyway, this is nice to know. Also, I find that comment about them not looking "child-like" amusing since that is one aspect I dislike about Merrill. Or perhaps "child-like" isn't the correct term for her. She looks like a porcelain doll to me, which I don't find very appealing.
I doubt your character devs will have too much issue with the male dwarves, so I'm guessing the females are (potentially) problematic. I've seen some lovely female dwarf avatars here on the BSN, but they can look a bit on the young side. However, considering Sigrun, who was just totally awesome and not child-like, I think they can manage something down the road.

Because their computer kept telling them "You've got mail."
A dwarf was displaying psychic abilities which troubled the Templars very much so they arrested him. However the clever dwarf manged to escape.
The wanted poster read "Small medium at large."

Personally, I really, really just want to see female dwarves included in the game again. There is a logical lore based reason for not seeing female kossith in Ferelden and Kirkwall. If we were visiting Par Vollen, however, I would definitely expect to see females.
There was no reason to exclude female dwarves from the last game, and since the female dwarven characters we met in DA:O (like Dagna, Felsi, and Sigrun) were enjoyable, something was definitely missing from my experience of DA2.
When it comes to romances, however, I'd prefer to wait and see, rather than ask to be catered to.

.
I agree, though Gaider, about the dwarves, was talking about romances, and not female dwarves in general. I will seriously disappointed if female dwarves will not be present in the next game (unless there are no dwarves in the game, but I'll be disappointed in this case too

Mailbox romance lines:
"Hey baby, hows about you drop your postage in this slot?"
"I priority express for you."
"Overnight is my shortest, but sometimes I can take five to eight days."
"I like the look of that package."

Says one thing and means another thing.
Won't come out and tell you what they mean instead speaking in riddles and making you squirm.
They make a huge mistake but somehow in conversation make you think it was really your fault.
Say "No!" a lot. (with no further explanation)

I'd like to see a Kossith romance, though it would really have to work. I mean, I'd imagine most Kossith are Qunari, and even if they're Tal-Vashoth, they may be rather... not apprehensive, not naive, but very... unsure about romance and their feelings, if that makes sense?
...Then again, to be fair, Tallis could show quite a bit of interest in Hawke (granted she isn't Kossith), so it might not take as much work that I think it might.... Regarldess, it would be really nice to see.
