First off, sorry if this is the wrong section.

I finally got my new laptop but I am wondering about one thing.

On my old lappy, my override and Addins folders are full of mods and bugfixes (downloaded, customized, self-made), which I would hate to lose or re-do all over again.
So is it okay to just copy over these those 2 folders to DA:O on my new laptop? Or do I need to do something else as well?

Thanks in advance! :)

Short answer:
For the "\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override" folder, no problem.

For the "\\Addins" folder, Back-up first. Try it. See what happens. Restore from back-up if it doesn't work.

Longer answer involves figuring out which elements of the "\\Addins" are from mods and which are vanilla game files. Depending on your install type, (Steam, Origin, retail disc, etc.) specific DLC, and whether or not you have the UE, this could work, or it could fail miserably.

Good Luck!

Hah, success.

Here's what I copied over. Using Origin BTW.

Addins folder
Override folder
Addins.xml file

Of course, first I had to get rid of the DLCs I already had downloaded, otherwise I would get the "un-authorized" error (which is weird, I already have them on my user entitelments page ).

Now I am going to make a playthrough to see if everything's in place. Thanks for the tips!
