 I dunno, I'm not a missle glitcher (pc user) but I sort of agree with that guy. If you're gonna report someone, then report them and move on/ask them to leave etc, do we really need posts of people drawing attention to themselves as if they'll get some sort of reward?

Just knowing there are more than a few people that are bothered by others cheating, may make someone think twice about trying it in a PuG. What anyone does in their private games is their business and BW can sort those out or not, but if you bring it into my game, and risk my account getting banned. You deserve what you get.

Jealous because somebody else gets their credits the easy way? If so you're the same kind of people whining about people being able to buy unlock shortcuts to games like bf and stuff.
It's a damn game not a criminal offense. If you see someone peeing in public are you gonna report them?

Gotta be honest, I don't get why people have such a problem with them glitching. I guess it's wrong, but I think it's hilarious when someone joins and rambos Gold/Platinum in 20 minutes or something. I've never reported people doing it since it doesn't hurt anyone except AI bots. Guess I should start though judging by people being so unhappy about it on here.

the biggest problem with glitching/cheating is that other become guilty by association and can get banned.

not to mention cheating is lame to begin with, really what is the point of even loading up the game.
if i got a wild hair to cheat, i could accomplish the same coolness by staring at my living room wall and imagining how flippin awesome i am.
because nobody sees a cheater in the game and says "OMG they are so cool!!"
it is more like " wow... what a lame ass with no skill..."

i have only reported one cheater on PC, said cheater was shooting a Widow faster than a hurricane, best part was he died constantly and was bottom score showing his true loser colors.

as far as the platinum argument... me and my friends do glacier/plat/reapers in 15 to 18 mins and we dont even use many missiles. other maps we average 22 to 23 mins, contemplating just doing u/u/p since we are a well oiled machine and u/u/g is to easy with our crew.

so if you think you need to cheat you should just play bronze or silver... so you can actually have fun, as cheating is retarded especially against enemy AI.

I reported 3 glicthers last night. One guy was running games as host telling others how to glicth and then telling them to leave his lobby after the game. I reported him too. Its not right people can farm 500k-1000k with missles in an hour.

Missile glitching is like a virus, at the moment. Doing it makes other people want to do it, and if you are there when it happens, you can get banned too. Your only defense is leaving that game so that you do not earn anything from it and report them. Not only will they get banned, but you are protecting yourself for being considered an accomplice.

This is something that was not intended to be possible in the game and since it has been exploited as a way to recieve effortless credits, it has been declared as cheating. It does effect other people because being in repeated matches with someone using the glitch can result in that person being banned as well. Also, most people don't like being in matches where everything dies with little to no effort. That gets boring pretty quickly.

That's messed up about the guy getting other people to glitch for him... per what bioware has said he would seem safe. Gld you reported him. I bet he was reporting his temporary minions too. Anyway.... to an extent I understand the "you guys are losers for reporting" camp and I don't think all of them are glitchers themselves.... its just. Damn game fter all.... then again, I report when I see it because the community wants it done and feels so strongly, and I support the community. Also I have run into glitchers and ended the 20 minute snore fest thoroughly pissed off (I don't have tht much time to play as it is) and I've reported out of anger.... the problem isn't "its not fair they get credits faster"... the problem is I have, at most, time for a handful of mtches a day.... and when 20 mins (or my consumables if I quit) get wasted because of these people, its a big deal to me. My time is precious to me

I remember when this forum was flooded with posts complaining about missile glitchers and how boring it makes the game.
Then Bioware said it was something you could get banned for and suggested we play no more than one match with the glitcher, leave and report.
Now we have people complaining about Bioware wanting us to do the work for them and how they should find the glitchers themselves if they care so much.

Did people miss the part where it was the community's problem before it was Bioware's? They aren't asking us to do the work for them, they are providing an avenue for us to weed out the people we don't want to play with. Bioware have tried to remove the glitch and I believe they will try further fixes. In the mean time they'll try to scare people into not ruining the game by banning glitchers.

There's doing the right thing and there's whining about the dumbest things.
You can just find another lobby if you don't like it right? Sure you lose some consumables but so what (my first match in a lobby I use low level consumables anyway just to see if my team deserves high level consumption).
And if you really don't want to waste them just finish the match, get your credits and leave, not like you'll get banned for 1 match right? Since everything dies instantly it shouldn't take too long.

what's unjustifiable about it?

With all the server disconnects, game ending glitches that make people waste 30 minutes doing nothing because they can't get EXP or credits, who cares if someone missile glitches to get back that money/exp they lost out on?

Some also just want to level up their weapons and not get level 4 consumables in every PSP/SP with their hard earned credits. Hooray for 60k/99k Jumbo Packs!

I personally don't give a damn myself, I have about 4 million credits saved up right now hoping one day BioWare won't be retarded and they'll make a weapon pack or at least increase the drop rate of URs.

But I can't say I blame other people for doing it. BioWare's failures have pushed people into doing it. If Escort drones didn't disappear mid mission causing the game to no longer progress, if people didn't constantly drop out of games due to terrible servers, etc I bet most people wouldn't even do the glitch.

You don't actually USE that gun, do you? With it being one of the weakest weapons in the game, people obviously think you are gonna do the glitch. Huh? You crazy man.  Put the Striker w/extended barrel & magazine on a Human Soldier or Destroyer, then put a couple magazines into an Atlas on Gold, then come back and say it is one of the weakest weapons in the game.  You can drop a Gold Phantom in less than a magazine plus it completely neutralizes her once the first bullet hits. 

Of course, this is all assuming you can aim, but the Atlas should be easy as it is the size of a barn.

I like the striker.... on destroyer, or tsol.... but I wouldn't bring it in to gold.... its good against big targets and big groups..... but generally crippling once the mobs spread out..... destroyer is cool because cooldown is irrelevant and you can take a second weapon to compenste.... but its situational. That said.... what matters here is not whether or not it is good, but the public perception.... because if everyone thinks its not goldworthy, you very rarely see it on gold/plat..... so its just basically a red flag
