 I don't have Merrill up into the RIVALRY category yet, and I'm fairly deep into Act II.  Is it still the case that you can't do Questioning Beliefs in Act III?  Are there any tricks or suggestions for getting the mission to prompt in Act II?

 You can check here:dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Merrill/Approval
to see what decisions let you gain rivalry with Merrill. Also be sure to get her gift for an extra boost (I think the act 2 gift can be bought from the Dalish merchant).

As with the link Ren posted, the best bet is to try and fix your points. Once you leave Act 2 your quests will be wiped and there is no going back. If you have yet to do Night Terrors, make sure you do that and take Merrill into the fade. You will get a huge chunk of points during that and afterward.
