Gave a little upgrade to mine recently. It is a bit better now. ![]()
^ Most likely a PS3 problem. I never had trouble like that on Xbox with my old connection. And it was slower than my current one.

And i running a server beside the main computer, so it supposed to be faster.
Looks good but my connection is not reliable based on my previous experiences:

See, my internet is not THAT bad! But if only you could have seen it before I fixed it last Christmas. It averaged around 0.60 Mb/s!

BEHOLD MY NEW INTERNET CONNECTION AND TREMBLE! ![]()
My host is OP

I guess it is not so bad for a 10 $ connection.
I wonder if anyone posting in this thread is aware how much time and effort ISPs make to ensure that Ookla and Speedtest return good looking numbers to reassure their customers. Or whether anyone understands how little these tests relate to things like stability under sustained load. Or whether anyone understands what the ping time on the report card means, and how it relates to things like in-game latency.
Kinda like the way car manufacturers make sure that the doors close with a solid thud. Shows the quality of the build. Or maybe just that they put a lot of effort into making the doors sound the way customers associate with quality.
I guess there are about as many people who understand internetworking as there are people who could explain how a car works....
I wonder

Snitch!

If my ISP is ensuring Speedtest shows good numbers, I'd hate to see what they'd look like without that reassurance.
It's Telstra. That's astronomically good for them ![]()

Whenever I see what kind of speeds you Europeans and Americans get, it makes me sad. Even the worst scores for you guys would be considered "fast" here in Canada.....then I'm reminded by Aussie internet as shown above and suddenly my netpeen doesn't seem so small anymore ![]()

G'day! Australia here

My riposte is to drop my netdong on you ![]()
I've seen it on other, more reliable sources at 140dwn and I've run a bunch of different high load things simultaneously on it without any problem. Fibre optic internet is the shit! But I have noticed that someone's supposedly good internet is acting like a potato. So I think you have a point. I always suspected it to be so...
