More chracter customization, yes, but don't make me play the game for hours on end just to make my character look the way I want.

Aside from that, I'd like to see more advanced options when it comes to changing/creating the characters features, nicer hairstyles for both genders, body tattoos, facial piercings, scars, freckles, warts, beauty spots, moles... anything that will give us more customisation options in order for us to create a unique protagonist.

I want better skin colors. Maybe it's my tv settings but once you go beyond pale the colors start to look strange. Olive and black skin tones look muddy and out of place, some of the skin tones looked jaundiced.
I also want better lighting in the creation screen. DAO and Awakening had terrible lighting colors throwing your colors off and DAII you couldn't see dark hair colors and it created harsh shadows that made it difficult to judge your edits. Less dramatic lighting please. I want to know what my PC will look like in game and not be surprised that I had overcompensated for bad lighting.
I want to customize my PC's mouth. I end up choosing my default based on mouth and then I have a ton of editing to do. There are eyes and noses you choose from, why not lips:?
Longer hair would be nice, freckles would be better

Also, do away with the thing that makes you have a skeleton face if you want a beard.

Character customization options as loot is a terrible idea. It's an even worse idea in a single player game.

Actually, it's incredibly fun! It's another kind of loot to find (and everyone LOVES finding more loot) and you get to extend the character creation from a single hour in the beginning to constant tweaking (or you can just not care). It's actually kind of embarassing that more RPGs haven't copied it from the massive success such things have had in Fable and Wow.

Don't make me play thorugh a prologue to get to character creation. That was a pain in the %$#&*#^$#&$ &@%.
The more customisation the better. If Bioware could, I'd like to see a way to alter the voice, maybe the pitch and the like.
It wasn't a pain in the ass. Just push X to skip it. Duh. Every time I start a new game, I press X and it goes right to the creation screen.

Would be really cool to let modders import their mesh and textures. BSN could be a place where we offer them to less experienced gamers
Customization is fun but gets old fast, watch the whinning that Guild Wars 2 character customization screen "takes too long" or "is too complex".

I would like bigger faces in the creation screen.Only race in DA:O that I could tell what the eye color was were the Dwarves.
Get a better TV, then. I have a standard sized HD TV, and I see it all quite well.

-I wanna be able to see what my character look like and not have the CC screen dark as hell, my TV lighting is fine I shouldn't have to squint my eyes to see if my character is wearing ugly make-up
- I don't wanna have to remove my characters beard to change the jaw line etc
- More hair options
- More hair options for females, the ones in DA:O just put me off creating a female
- More tatoos

* Body slider for body weight AND body build - Skyrim had this feature but I'd prefer a more refined system.
* Short hairstyles for women - to create believable female warriors.
* Better beards
* Scars
* Sliders and CC flexibility like in Skyrim.
When BW devs mentioned that they will take a look at Skyrim I hope they'll also take a look at its CC.

2. Better hair for sure, less long fem hair (if so, ponytails and stuff, I hate those perfectly polished and well maintained waves and curls in FemHawke's hair when she's running around killing dragons with a 2-handed greatsword, but I didn't want ten variations of bowl cuts). Hate starve-jaw to have beard (but I don't play men anyway)
3. I want to be able to have an idea of how my finished character will look in game, putting a tiny bit of makeup only to find out character looks like a clown is not fun.
4. (Most Important) No more fidgeting! I swear I've seen 2 year olds with better twitch control when getting ready.

A 'live' screen that has actual game lighting and the pc's face runs through the emotion animations.
Better skin tones as the darker ones look muddy. More details like scars, freckles and body tattoos.
A class/wealth restricted choice of starter gear.

And I thought I was the only person here who hates that.

Mass Effect Character ID Codes
Skyrim Sliders but with Numbers
New Unique Hair & Beard Options
Bring Back the ability to choose your race from Origins
Bring back the Personality System from Dragon Age 2 but make it a choice during Character creation
that way the Personality wouldn't change during the Game.

- More control over colours (more this than this).
- The ability to see the character talk in the creator.
- The ability to recustomize appearance from the in-game options menu. Come on, what does it really add to say a magic mirror does it? Just make it the meta option everyone knows it is. Having to reach the place where you can do it is just a pain anyway, especially from the prologue when you've just finished making your character but it's still not quite right.
- Stop giving some characters unique hairstyles when there's nothing comparable in the creator (that goes for the default PC too). Isabela's bandana thing for example, I don't necessarily want the exact same model (I get that it's good for them to be unique to a degree (that bit doesn't go for the default PC)) but there ought to be something similar for the player. If nothing else, given that these assets already exist and they may only need some tweaking in order to differentiate them slightly it seems like extra options for half the price.
- Codes like the ME creator; that was a really good idea wherever it came from.

As it stands:I'd also like it if the character creator were the first thing to come up on starting a new game, but that's not vitally important. It just feels like, when there are cutscenes before the creator, part of me is waiting for the CC rather than paying attention to what's happeneing; even if my character isn't in the first scenes I don't settle in until it's done, but that might just be me.

I wanted to say they should add a type of mirror where you can change your beard, make up and what not through out the course of the game. Maybe not facial features like eyes, nose etc but just small things. Kinda like what they did in Kingdoms of Amalur.
