they should just bring back the DA:O experience i.e. race origins and backgrounds. and let me make a male character with a ponytail or really long hair.

Don't make me play thorugh a prologue to get to character creation. That was a pain in the %$#&*#^$#&$ &@%.

The more customisation the better. If Bioware could, I'd like to see a way to alter the voice, maybe the pitch and the like.

:pinched::pinched:

I am with you, I think 200% of the players got very annoyed by this.

Yep! Agreed! I love men with long hair and I would love a option for this in DA3. Pity the only "longish" type for men is what my warden has in my icon.

I just hope that they add more than 1 body model for every character in the game. It`s always awkward to see a 70 years old lady with the body of a heatly 20 years old lady.

Guild Wars 2 added more variety to body mass also and HEIGHT. I want to be able  to play has seven feet tall 350 pounds warrior. Plus it`s would quite unique if NPC in the game would notice your height and size or little detail like hair color. It would definitly add to the immersion of the game. Like - Eh ... Actually NPC notice the chocie I made during character selection .. It`s quite fun!

Plus make hair look like hair.  Ohh and add cloak .

Like if you play has a 7 ft tall 300 pounds gorrila full of muscle... The queen upon seeing you would be like - GEEZ you`re a MONSTER!! You`re HUGE!

Come on .. it would be epic.

Playable Races*Human,Dwarf,Elf and hopefully Qunari*
Being able to dye our character's armor/clothes.
Finally being able to use Morrigan/Athenril's hairstyle without modding.

New body types are what I want. If I wish to be a nubile child-like nymph or the image of a sadistic fat drunk, I would like to be able to choose.

I doubt this will happen before new consoles. It takes more resources than I believe Bioware is willing to spend on character creation.

hairstyles should be more interesting and different!

Absolutely. Thick hair seemed to not really exist except for a couple of styles. More styles and thicker hair please. Different lipstick shades to match what they're wearing would be nice also.  And please let us have the Black Emporium again, or something similiar where you can change appearance in-game.

More hair styles would be great, and yes the ability to play as a non-human should come back too, but the top of the list for me is that the CC should be BEFORE the game begins. Obviously the opening video coming first is fine, but you shouldn't have to actually play the game using some kind of generic character for a while before you're finally allowed to customize your character, its absurd really.

While we're on the topic, I'd really like as wide a range as possible for hair and skin colors. Really bright, vivid colors to go along with the rest of them. More choice and options is always better, so let's make DA3's the widest range of choices of them all!

No annoying prologue fight, please. I like dudebro Hawke but only when I'm looking at fanart. I can pretend he's not apart of my game then.
I only made two Hawkes on console. For pc? Twenty-seven once I downloaded the mod to skip the prologue. Think about that please okay thanks.

A dark brown eye color please. Darker than Anders' eye color. He had dark brown eyes in Origins...what happened to that one?

Black hair...actual black hair. Or atleast...keep whatever "black" you have and rename it dark brown, because that's what it is. And make a REAL black. Then it's okay if you make 100 shades of blonde.

Arrows. Just...you know what i'm talking about.

Body types would be...nice. I only played a female warrior once...and even then slapped heavy armor on her the second she could wear it because her arms...just had no muscle. Your arms can still be small and slim AND muscular, my sister has arms like that, but...Fem!Hawke had nothing.

Ooh, you should have those voice sliders like the ones in Sims 3. Work on it a bit though. You don't really need to pay attention to your sims voices. But for your {insert boring protagonist name} you...kind of do.

I also would like to hear my characters voice as in DA2. In Origins, not being able to speak out loud was just too weird. It really diminishes your character.

With the character create system is kinda limited because it is really only structuring the face, all that they can do is add more hair styles/color, eyebrows, eye color, and tattoos. The only way they can improve that is to give us body options. Like how big the guy/girl is, body type, muscle, fat, and all the other stuff. However, am guessing we're only going to be able to use face creation.

Players skould be able to choose race and more options i creating you character; like longhair-style for both gender as an exemple. That way it will be more variation for players to choose from. Also a good thing is to keep the bisexual romance option, that way the player can play the way most comfortable for them too...

I want casual clothing customizing, not just some robes or picking from 6 outfits. I want to make outfits, add patterns and the such, and in case I have a realy cool set of armor. I want the option to wear the armor instead.

Main thing:
-Race selection, Origin stories and the game reflecting these
-heavily customizable armor for both the main pc and the companions (exactly what's in David Gaider's blog post :D ), though that's not really a cc thing

Other stuff:

-class selection

-long hair, really long hair, for both males and females, and a length slider.

-good number of body style options (but this would also need a height number with it, so we don't accidentally build lumbering giants or questionably dwarvish elves, etc.)

I suggest you look at Dragon's Dogma's very similar but expanded character creator. My characters are all cool looking in BioWare games (some better than the new fully designed defaults, like my male and female Shepard and my femHawke so far), so that's a compliment to the cc we've got, but in Dragon's Dogma, I could make *me*, so good I have relatives that keep a pic of it on their phones. I don't want all my characters to look like me, obviously, but it was awesome to be able to do it so well in an in-game tool. And my beautiful game babes are even more beautiful when I have more options to build them with. ;-) My Dogma pawn girl looks just as great as my in game twin, and it's supremely cool to run them both around with their long, natural hair swaying around. lol ;) I like the hair movement from DA2 also. (not a comment on the rest of the Dragon's Dogma game, just the cc)

-weapon selection with actual different animation sets for different types of weapons, even if they belong to the same skill trees (axes are different than daggers, dual wield swords different from sword and dagger, flamberge different from battleaxe etc.). Throwing knives, main and gauche, tomahawk, non-mage staff, spear, and polearm styles.

-lots of angles and lighting toggles, so we can see exactly what our character will look like in game
-some sort of extra feature editing we can access somewhere in game, so we can change hairstyles, beards, makeup, etc.

-customizable casual and formal wear for when our characters shouldn't be in full armor, or at least options like we had for non-combat in ME3. My Shepard loves his N7 leather jacket, and my femShep approves of her formal officer's suit and her evening mini. ;) It would be cooler if we got to designate for formal and casual from a set of options, at least.

Well I don't want every character be a bisexual, just a few.  Mainly two is fine, or a like in ME3 with Steve and Samatha.  Not to have everyone bisexual, that's just stupid to me.

Agreed, it cheapens that part of the character's identity and how it relates to their personality.
At least if they are going to be hero-sexual, give them different sexual backgrounds to reflect their different player defined orientations, so some different dialogue once their orientation's been set, and some different party banter. It makes no sense for everybody you meet to be bi-sexual or non-sexual to you, and it limits what can be addressed with the character's overall story outside of pursuing a romance. It's like now nobody can have a sexual bias or a defining past experience unless the player character wants to get it on with them. That's another area where Origins was stronger.

The elves don't need to look human, but they don't need to look like halla either. :-/ The DA elves are supposed to be exotically beautiful. They're supposed to be highly agile, highly survivable in the wild, highly tribal. They're predators, not prey. That's what they should look like. They shouldn't look like frightened deer.
