Yeah, cause the guys who do the balance changes are totally the same guys who do the programming.

I can actually understand the nerfs to the slashes, most of the time's I've seen people using the classes involved, the only thing their doing the entire match is standing behind a wall and spamming their respective slash which can do incredible damage amazingly easy, plus it wouldnt make sense to keep smash nerfed and not the slashes.

So any power used over and over again should be Nerfed? Watch out faster classes. And don't use TC to often

I liked these changes. Human Vanguard become once again playable: I just had a gold match against geth and scored first with more than 75 kills.
Now they just need to solve the bug when charging if you aren't the host.

And i agree with the changes on the slayer. I see a lot of people who play with that class simply spend the whole match spamming biotic slash.

Great, but change Slash back to what it was.  Saying someone is spamming an ability is the same if someone says someone is spamming their bullets.

that would require fixing its targeting system, which could actually be difficult, unlike changing a few numbers which is not, they could balance all the guns if they were interested, or admit they beat the krysae too hard with the nerf bat

Vanguard buff is nice. I'm excited to play one as soon as the known-since-before-launch game-breaking stuck-in-geometry bug is fixed.

All these vanguard changes won't mean anything if they don't fix the glitch/de-sync. Bioware please fix your game instead of just 'balancing' it.

I don't like the nerfing of slash. I like to stand behind walls and slash as the characters do not enough shields and health to stand up out of cover.

SgtAmazing is right...power spammers shouldn't be punished..... the only issue is the screen shake which should be removed for everyone except the poweruser(why isnt this already done?)..... I played the mass effect series for 2 reasons; the amazing story and the brillent gameplay..... by brillent gameplay i of course mean the abilities.... if i wanted to play a normal shooter i would play a better one such as battlefield....

I dont understand why all these 'balance changes' are continously being made...some things i agree with..and power buffs i like...but why nerf the things that people find fun? the only outcome i can see happening is people quitting that much sooner cause of the changes....(some need to be nerfed, but most dont and even if they do as far as i can tell bioware has taken it too far)

Anyways i dont really care...ive almost lost entirely intrest in this repetitive multiplayer....

P.S. I wasn't a spammer...and i played gold most, but whats the difference between spamming one power(eletric slash) and spamming another(shadow strike).... or whats so much better about sitting behind cover spamming a gun over a power?(aside from screen shake)

^^^ seems to me that bug comes up less of late. I haven't V-glitched with my Krogan in a week at least.

Part of that has to do with my charging a little earlier than I used to. May I suggest, my vanguard friends, to simply play a little more conservatively with your charges and your health meter. A little less DPS, a whole lot more fun than flying around.

Overall happy - nice to see the BW is listening (Locust/Crusader) and can see what needs fixing. (Biotic Charge) Shame about the slash cooldowns but I have a feeling that the abilities will still feel almost as fun and be just as useful to non-spammers. Wall-spammers will still be able to use them fine, just with less DPS so lower score.

Charge buffs seem super awesome. Especially the power synergy one...
Basically makes a permanent 40% instead of 25 for those who charge repeatedly. BC+PD jsut got a whole lot better.

BC buff combined with slash nerf might convince me to go back to the no-slash Slayer. I'll still be glitching like a pro though.

Interesting buff to kishock, change multiplier from 1.5x to 1.75x. Hopefully next week a certain UR will see that change... Although tbh I personally don't care, I got the Typhoon on both xbox and pc about a day after the nerf-bat, I use it on the Geth Engineer and Infiltrator, and the only thing which I really hate about it is the fact that it runs out of ammo too quickly.

It would be nice to see some changes for the Disciple, Geth Pulse Rifle, Wraith and Javelin, but I'm not holding my breath.

Great changes all the way around (I think that's the first time I've been able to say that). However, a lot of things that need some work have still been left out.

I'm also not sure as to why the slashes got an increased cooldown. The only real problem is screen shake. And that is a terrible mechanic from the start. Why should I be penalized for something my teammate is doing!? Get rid of it already.

Oh and can I have my smash cooldown back? I would really like to enjoy using my PA again.

Ok, Electric Slash takes a tad longer to recharge..I can live with that. Just leave Shadow Strike alone; it's perfect as it is!
And a buff for the poor little Locust, that's great news. Now I don't have to feel embarrassed equipping my favourite SMG from ME2.

I'm happy with all of these, especially the locust and crusader.I don't care about slash cooldowns, I never spammed them in the first place; I only found it necessary to use when groups came along, and I'd use it maybe twice in a row, if that.

I was never a huge Slash spammer but the animation really needs to be sped up if you're going to increase the cooldown.
