She has to be a Tal-Vashot or a mage, since qunari women don't fight. Not that I care much if she's a Tal Vashot.

Judging by those clothes and that shoulder piece, she looks like a mage. Probably a Tal'Vashoth too, judging by the lack of stitching on her lips. (Or maybe Qunari don't stitch the mouths of female mages? Women aren't expected to fight, so maybe they don't teach them offensive spells and/or don't consider them as dangerous as men?)

Wrong,
First qunari is a religion not a race. That elfe girl in mark of the assassin was a qunari woman AND she was a fighter.
Sten even says that Qunari females can fight, but they will be considered "men" like in many african tribes.
And most important she is a Kossith, nothing says she is Qunari.

Well at least that resolves the issue of the guilt I was feeling over my growing interest in this game.
I went from no interest, to moderate interest at the prospect of a female Qunari (Or Tamassran... w/e), and am now safely back at a passing interest at best.
You know what's awesome about Dragon Age Comic books?

I really like the artwork, its very hard to draw a face that is alive like this one, kudos to the artist.
But as good as the artwork may be, she looks more like a tiefling, all the male Qunari we've seen so far look very different from all the other races in Thedas, their faces are much more angular / chiseled,their eyes are very different too.
It wouldn't make much sense to have a model that looks so human/elvish.
Oh, and totally love the idea of having a fem Qunari companion for DA3.

It's white but I guess it was given a blue tint because of the background and also it's concept art so if she appeared in a DA game she probably wouldn't have that tint. Likely we will get a female Kossith companion in the next game since it seems to be what people have wanted since Origins...
