 I recently completed Lair of the Shadow Broker. What I didn't know is I needed to start the Samara recruitment mission before that. I used the save editor to put Samara in my party but the quest "Dossier: The Justicar" is still ongoing in my journal. Is there anyway to make the game read that quest as completed using the save editor?

There's a "Samara is loyal" flag that can be checked in Gibbed but I don't know if it will alter what's in the journal (there are a few bugs there and one or two quests can be left ongoing even on an unGibbed playthrough - this on Packages for Ish has happened to me 2-3 times). However, you're missing out on some morality points and IMO some interesting dialogue. I'd go back to an earlier save if you have one even though it means a replay of Shadow Broker. Also worth it for playing the loyalty mission so as to save Morinth and kill Samara instead. Gets you Dominate as a bonus power for future games, and that can be pretty useful on some missions. Again, Gibbed has a "Samara is replaced by Morinth" flag but I'm not sure that you'd get the bonus power that way.

You could always go to an earlier save. But if you don't have one that is at least a decent hours away you're gonna have to mess with the save file abit.
