It's a waste of $7!  Seriously?  After leaving the Keep I can't get back in?  It's advertised as a new base of operations, yet I can't move my party there, I can't change party members, I can't get back into the keep to finish quests!

All you get for your $ is more storage space and a pretty set of armor and a few weapons that aren't even good enough to use for more than a couple of levels...  If I had done my reasearch online before ordering this PoS "expansion" I never would have wasted my money!

I'm sorry that you feel that way. Others disagree. As Relhart aluded to, a little research would have saved you feeling dissapointed with your purchase.

I knew what I was buying and was quite happy with it. Different strokes I suppose...

Plus 6 pretty cool abilities, 2 for each class, plus a neat little side adventure, complete with moral choices, some fights and a bunch of cutscenes, plus some cool-looking weapons and armour etc.

EETS A TRAVEHSTEYY!!!

I liked Soldier's Peak, in fact. I doubt Starfang is only good enough for "a few" levels. But yes, it had a few flaws, like no way back in once you left.

Maybe you'll like RTO more, look for some reviews of it once it's released.

would say that 20 minutes of game is not worth 7 dollars...

I liked the story of Soldier's Peak. $7 is next to nothing, Barely more than a cup of coffee anymore, and Wardens Keep certainly gave me more enjoyment than that.

Some friendly advice: I suggest you buy your coffee elsewhere. If the price there is similar.. Move.

I do however agree, although it's quite a bit more than i'd be willing to pay for a cup of coffee, $7 really isn't allot of money. It's about the price of a bad pizza over here.
I'd say it's worth it..

I thought the story was good. One of the best side quest in the game. Id say its worth £5.

Well the 5+ times I did the DLC so far pretty much made it worth the money for me + you can upgrade the armor later in the game.

Actually for a smaller add-on it was very nicely done and plotwise it had some interesting differences in the 'ending' depending on your choices. The group chest and loot are nice enough without being insanely powerful... can't really say there's much to complain about.

As far as the "can't go back inside" bit... well, if you've already killed off all of the killable beasties and emptied all the treasure, not much reason to go back in other than a nice walk for some exercise...?

The one thing that would have been interesting would be if [spoiler] was recruitable, they would liven things up interacting with the other characters....

Is it worth $7? Debatable, considering how much money is spent on other needless things in life, like cigarettes, alcohol, night clubbing, indulgent snacks.

Yep even though I don't do the first 3...the last one...I like snacks...but really alcohol is MORE than $7 and cigarettes are getting really close to surpassing the $7 mark.

waste, my ass, you have full voice dialogue and banter for all characters. multuple cut scenes as well as a few moral choices. the effort for this was not super easy.

I liked it.

I can freely choose from various extra storage mods.

I can get any item I want (pretty much) easily from the winter forge mod.

And what little story and stuff there is in that mod isnt worth 7$ to me.

If you do EVERYTHING in the keep you get some solid exp and some great items. Not to mention a phenominal sword later on in the game.

I wish people would learn the difference between opinion and fact.  Your statement is your opinion.  You didn't think it was worth the money while I think it was worth every penny.  I've seen people say seven dollars is 1/7 of what I payed for the game but think about it this way, seven dollars is not even an hours wage, not even a two hour movie ticket, maybe a cup of coffee or two or a dinner at Mcdonalds.  Also I can remember buying A brand new Atari games for 40 to 50 dollars back in 1979 - 1983, games haven't increased that much in price over the last thirty years while everything else has inflated. If games followed the market trend then they would be worth at least $150 to $200 today if not more, so seven dollars is not alot of freaking money.  Also how long do you think it took to make this?  Even a really cheesy mod takes time, usually more than an hour and seven dollars isn't even minnimum wage for an hour......I could go on and on but in the end it comes down to opinions. My opinion is that it's worth every penny.

Oh cry me a river, for god's sake. Here's an idea - make up your own mind about the DLC, and let everyone else make up theres too.

I happen to thoroughly enjoy it. It was a bit short but I was using that gear and that store for the whole game and it was nice while it lasted. It was worth £4.76.

The DLC was worth the money, it was really cheap as hell, and the next DLC will be even cheaper :D.

So yes, it was worth spending the 7$.

Personally, I enjoyed the Keep. I liked learning a bit about the GW's history, and like having another smith and merchant to visit. It would have been nice to be able to change party members in the area, but it is what it is. I appreciate the fact that the game has been out for less than 2 months, and they've already delivered 2 new areas via DLC, and are working on a third. I don't know of a lot of games as huge and complex as DA:O that have done, or are doing, that. So, I say, "thanks Devs! Keep up the good work!"

I enjoyed it. It was interesting little mission, with quote a bit of history. The addition of the armor and items was very nice, but the biggest draw for me was the chest.

As for the cost, it's debatable. I've purchased DLCs for less that have had bunches of stuff and ones for more that aren't worth it. Seven bucks is in that grey area, under 5 people tend to not care, above 10 and it's got to be pretty substantial. For me, it was 7 well spent.
