Bioware/DAO team,

I finally finished my 1st round with Dragon Age and I had to post my thoughts and my thanks.  I know you guys recieve a ton of these but I know sooner or later you guys end up listening to your community anyway.

First off, This game is brilliantly done.  I haven't had an RPG experience like this for a very long time.  So thank you very much for your efforts.

One thing about this game was that many of the plots, including the main one, was very social/political.  It was refreshing and new.  It put a new twist on the whole "kill x amount of" and the "retrieve me x amount of" quests."  The choices were all very important and I actually cursed myself in many of the choices I've made because it affected some of my henchmen.  Some of the backstabs caught me off guard and pissed me off.  You guys really did make those choices something you have to think about.

Improvement?  Sure there is always room but the one I have is particular to the antagonist and the team menu for the PS3.

Bad guy
The story wasn't bad and in fact it was very involving, but there was a lack of a strong antagonist.  I think we all need a Sephroth, John Irenicus, or Darth Vader.  I was waiting to be intrigued by a bad guy in this game instead I got a lot of political stuff.

Team control system
I wish there was a better way to tell my party members, in the PS3 version, where to go without having to control them myself.  I mean, in Mass Effect, this was accomplished by just pointing the "pause reticle"  at any direction and pressing a button for your team mate to run to that direction.  In this game, I found it frustrating to scroll to each character just to move him/her while the other one either auto attacks or hold's position.  Hopes this makes sense.  I wish I could explain it better.

Now I'm off for the 2nd round of DAO!!!

Thanks Bioware!!!!

god point about the central antagonist, the Archdeamon was to impersonal for me really to care about killig it, not like Darth Malak or Al Mualim from assasins creed. Duncan coulda had a longer part in main story (maybe not, i just like his voice actor :)
