After I saw this claim made by a fellow BSN user, I like to put it to the test. What is your opinion of her? This is regarding the character, not the body (which I dislike).

James and EDI add nothing to the game, and most people didn't like them. they where extremely boring characters. unlike pretty much everyone from ME2

I thought about making one for James as well, but this post was in a thread that specifically regards EDI.

EDIT: So, care to revise your statements, unnamed BSN user?

Are you asking us to judge what the community thinks? Or what we, individually, think?

For the record: I really love EDI, her development in ME2 and ME3 has really solidified her as one of Bioware's star characters in their games. Her transition from on-board AI to the infiltration unit, really spoke volumes about how much she wants to help Shepard succeed. Plus, her speeches (not Synthesis) are really moving!

It's not that I don't like her, I dislike her as a squadmember because she takes the place of someone potentially better.

Individually. Judge her character, not the sexbot body, since it's almost universally loathed. I despise that body as well.

Why couldn't they have left EDI the way she was and used that spot for any of these: Grunt, Jack, Thane, Samara/Morinth, or any of the other squad mates from ME2. Nothing against EDI but I think I would have enjoyed Jacob being back instead of Joker's new toy
