How would you feel if Aeonar was in DA3?

It would be nice to see Lily again.
Knowing our luck, she got possessed sometime in the last 10 years, and she is now leading a horde of abominations that are trying to take over the surrounding area.
Damn you Jowan! Must you screw up everything you touch!

Maybe even a quest to help the mages escape with help from Anders? Depending on if he survived or not, of course. Thoughts?
Yes, A quest to help utterly crush an escaping Mage force and ensuring Templar control of the entire region would be a cool quest

Shoo Templar fan!!
A quest to help someone escape from Aeonar, or to orchestrate a mass escape would be awesome!

EDIT: Nm reread the codex, it houses both Chantry enemies and mages.

Just saying I'd rather us have the ability to choose sides rather than Bioware turning the Templars into the Mass Effect 3's Cerberus of Dragon Age.

Really? I wouldn't. In fact, the Cerberus thing is my precise idea and hope.Just saying I'd rather us have the ability to choose sides rather than Bioware turning the Templars into the Mass Effect 3's Cerberus of Dragon Age.

Or send people there... or interrogate someone there. That'd be fun too.

Mass Effect 3 Cerberus ?
Might as well give them a nametag saying "I'm an Evil Minion" and make their armors have a bullseye to make targeting easier and be done with it

Uh, that's really the only productive thing I have to add.
Oh, that's a lie - I really like the concept, but I think if Bioware did do a quest involving Aeonar then they'd have to try really hard to avoid making it look like a direct rip of Spellhold. Spellhold was good, but uh.. A direct rip would be bad.
If they can't do that, then i'd personally prefer it if they just shared more information via codex or conversations or something, maybe come across someone that escaped it themselves, without assistance and they could shed light on it and how it operates and stuff..
Yeah.

Yeah I would like that too. It was just a little...harsh is all. But an interesting quest for the Templar side, no doubt.

So you love horrible and one-dimensional writing?

Reminds me somewhat of Bane.

Odds are high that I'll love what you consider to be horrible and one-dimensional writing. Personally I think letting people side with the templars is tantamount to letting them side with the Archdemon, i.e. more a matter for a DLC. I'm sure you can side with the Chantry if you wish.Lotion Soronnar wrote...

It's like breaking open New Folsom in SC2. You'll free some bad people, true, but also a lot of opponents of Mengsk's regime, in addition to Gabriel Tosh's very helpful Spectre force. Ultimately it could wind up as the greater good. Likely, in fact.Reminds me somewhat of Bane.

So whether I'm playing pro-Chantry or anti-Chantry, I'd take great pleasure in traveling to Aeonar and tearing the place down brick by brick.
