it's not about me, people can talk all the s**t they want about me, i'm simply explaining for the inept among us. i don't want to do the run. i don't want to argue about doing the run, i just want to get back to helping out the members of my group. when things interfere with that is when i get annoyed, be it the scrubs who invaded our thread starting drama before they got stomped out, or a bunch of know-nothing clowns talking out of their asses looking to cause problems. the group is a safe haven from all the typical bsn idiocy, and i do my best to keep it that way. when something gets in the way of that is when problems arise.

i already said that those who matter, the ones who know me at all will know better, and that's what i meant. i'm fully aware that some people will insist on being s***ty to me no matter what i do, that's the point i was acknowledging above.

Dood sorry if it seems like I'm trying to bash you or your group. 90% of the time I'm not really serious about anything. I do admit I envy people I hate the top guilds because they're at the top something to strive for look up to and attack for lulz, way of the interwebs etc. And I do admit the speed runs you do are pretty impressive and I got no chance to top them.

You should get a thicker skin though. Do you see why people actually do these things? Because you dignify us with answers that have read challanges that look like pure harmless fun as negatives. Then you've pretty much answered to us sounding pretty mad goading us on and on. Language also shows how easy you are to anger. Slims not helping either. The moment you take Uchimuras advice and just ignore everything this will keep happening and happening.

A guild is only as strong as their leader the leaders image and attitude will paint the guilds image the same color. Right now to me you and your group is looking mighty unpleasant to me and maybe some other people sure we don't matter but if this keeps happening it'll add up and implode.

I'm late to the party, but I'll say what's been said before. If anyone wants to issue a challenge to us, a serious all out speedrun or a goofy/themed/fun to watch one, please send a PM to AreleX, Bechter or me. I assure you that, if you send your suggestion to us and explain it in a friendly, non passive-aggressive way, we will consider it, and quite possibly agree to it due to its friendly nature.
But as long as challenges, serious or otherwise, are issued to us in a way it was done in this thread, you will get nothing except a good laugh and a "challenge rejected" from us. You reap what you sow, basically.

Do you read? Where do you come off as being so hostile? Where did I once insult you or act condescending to you? The proof is there in those pictures you deride. Sorry I don't have the program or equipment to take an entire video. This wasn't tedious. Tedious would have been a long match, with no rockets. Tedious would have been trying to beat your London Reapers match time with no rockets, only to be ****ed over every single time by the RNG trolling us with hack waves. How about you chill? This was a friendly "challenge" just to see if you guys would do it for fun.

Not sure how you can cheat. I mean, they buffed the weapon damage of the locust. You can't mod the game to change weapon stats/enemy stats/player stats/etc of anything if they change it with live changes.

I love how hostile they get Kenedian, it was like an unintentional troll to the elitist group.

I was insulted by one of the OP team members long before this turned anywhere near hostile. He also didn't answer my question in my original post he quoted. He just felt the need to take a unwarranted jab at myself and the group. It would of just took a PM to not have any of this miscommunication.

How are we an elitist group when we let everyone in and help inexperience players progess into gold/platinum?

Yes, we cheated. We swapped our weapons out for Hurricans before the match started. And yes, apparently this turned into an unintentional troll. Christ you go to sleep and it grows into some kind of grotesque lab experiment. What is wrong you people?

Actually we have only posted maybe four threads. 1 was to shut up flamers like you, 2 were speedruns during our friendly competition with zHHk and co. and 1 was a goofy all-flamer only run. There is NOTHING here being posted to boost our egos. We aren't taking on insane challenges like "solo Jade with a Bat Sent with a Javelin X that you're not allowed to use and a Predator vs. Geth on Gold without rocketting".

This is literally just a group of players having fun, making some vids and sharing them with this ungrateful community so they can either enjoy watching the video or even more of our aim, seek to better themselves. And if those that do want to better themselves happen to be 360 players we will gladly teach them and provide a stable, friendly and generally uncompetitive group of friends for them to learn and play with away from the wasteland of Public games and outside of this jungle of trolls and D-Bags.

We have a discussion topic inside our group in which we post random vids such as all Striker Krogans vs. Reapers on Vancouver or four Demolishers vs. Cerberus on Platinum (FBW). We don't post them here because we generally don't want to flash our e-peens. As I said the past videos have connotations outside of your understanding. If you don't know anything of a certain group don't try and create stereotypes about them...


MGamerz and Kenadian please understand that whilst Team AreleX does indeed like a good challenge we will not be inclined to tackle a challenge as tedious, time consuming and boring as the one you propose. Would you really want to be in a competition where the aim is to build the Taj Mahal using only nails and twigs?

Thanks for the response. I re-read the post and still couldn't find it. You also compared it to our no rocket run so it got me a little confused. Also the london run wasn't are game we were goated into it and don't want to make a habit of accepted challenges like this because it could become overwhelming. If we can be apart fo the pre challenge discussion thats another story. We can then negotiate a challenge/speed run that is good for all. When we put our vids we do it because many people like seeing them and what can be done when you push everything to the limit. When people put forth challenges like this its fine and all but we don't view them as exciting? Its like you are asking all the worlds pro golfers to swing with their opposite hand or watching the NBA D-league instead of All-stars like LeBron, Kobe, and Steve Nash (Just using a easily understood analogy don't think ME3 domination is on the level of the before mentioned people). Nobody cares about the fastest Donkey in the world thats why the line up Thoroughbreds at the Kentucky Derby.

It does get old when half of a speed run thread is full of haters who don't understand the teamwork and mindset of what we are trying to accomplish. (Get out of glacier, lose your rocket crutches, Inf. are OP, etc. yet only a fraction of the people have done anything close to what we have done. People act as if we can't play any other characters and what we do takes no skill. Just shows how envious and/or ignorant they are.

Why don't you just say 'thanks but no thanks' instead of 'WHO ARE YOU TO CHALLENGE US, YOU MUST BEAT US'?

Being serious. Words might come off as rude sounding though I don't mean them to be. I read the 'join us' thread and find the leader to be quite... egotistic.

And I'm not envious. I find the whole 'we're the best!' kind of... lame. You're playing against an AI that has predictable moves. It's fine that you're good but it's nothing special.

Here is the beef, if this forum had threads about team A, B, C, D, Arelex, E and such I would have no problem.  Also there is nothing inherently wrong with posting your accomplishments at all.  Hey it's a good thing for a bit of competetive action between teams and or factions.  My problem is a team posting a new speed run and in that thread posting a blatant challenge to the 'PCers' to beat it  and then in a thread like this totally dismissing a persons friendly suggested challenge in a rather arrogant and dismissive fashion as if it was beneath them.

I'm sure team Arelex does a lot fo good for the people who join it and helps many people.  However if you are going to have threads dedicated to your accomplisments don;t act all offended it someone actually poses a challenge to you.  Politely decline?  Sure go for it but the type opf resposne that was given to the challenge makes the team look very eltist and snobby.

I'm living proof that team AreleX accepts everyone and anyone. I was a scrub messing around in silver and some gold games before AreleX took me under his wing. I have improved under his and his Team's guidance.

I don't consider myself a good player but I can handle Gold games pretty well nowadays. Which was a far cry from my pre-AreleX days where I scrubbed out by wave 3 Gold and wave 8 silver.

Leave AreleX and all of us alone. We are just basically a bunch of players who happen to like ME3 a lot.

Also, when we do challenges, it's always for fun. We don't force your hand and play by our rules. So, why on earth should you force ours?

I don't know all the facts and I have not read all the text involved in this ...situation. I won't pretend to either but honestly...really honestly, it seems like everyone is flustered by semantics.

If someone doesn't like the way you have approached them you shouldn't be asking why they're cross but instead ask yourself ( the general you ) how you can communicate with them better, if that is your goal. If it truly doesn't matter much to anyone ( this arguing/situation/challenge ), this whole discussion likely could be dropped like a hot coal.

I never said anything like "who are you to challenge us". I'm glad you read a 100+ page thread in such a short amount of time and made up your mind about the group. The truth is you called us elitist before you opened the thread. Pretty sure you had your mind made up before you clicked the thread.

I also hear you about it being A. I. and everything. The main reason I play this game other than loving the story of the ME3 universe is its Co-Op. I am not really a fan of many of the communities of PVP Shooters etc. I enjoy the teamwork that is displayed in our speed run vids more than anything else. I also find it very ironic that some people like to dismiss it for several reason but they couldn't come close to replicating what is done. Our competition witht the PC guys was fun and was never hostile. Recently we have had some BSN'ers directly insult us to try to provoke us to accepting a challenge on their terms. We accepted to quite them but decided we don't want to make it a habit because we don't find it fun. I don't think the original post was in bad taste with its contents just wish it was PM'ed. Also I was insulted by a member of the screenshot after my first post in the thread yet we're are the badguys.

I went into the thread and found quite a few quote pyramids that reiterated the last 15 pages. It doesn't matter if you were founded on good principles it's your actions of late that really only matter to me.
Does your /entire/ group think the same as the leader? I highly doubt it. Why does the leader dictate everything about the group? Legion is a group I'm part of (though I'm not a 'dedicated' member really, just an IRC user) and we don't really care what the members do. They play the game with good players and have fun. We let just about anyone join. We don't care if people pose challenges at us. Some of us will do it and others won't.
I guess I'm not getting why members are having a HUGE fuss over something that could have been ignored. Instead, they threw a huge stink about it.

Also, the 'you' part was meant to the group, should have clarified that more. I don't care about competition but the group seems very elitist, and the proof seems to be that Kenedian just said 'I challenge you to this!' and a huge stink was raised. If people don't want to do the challenge that's fine. People that do can. Why was this (discussion) even necessary?

I troll some posts on BSN and some people troll me. But I don't care, because it's BSN. My feelings never get hurt over what people on this forum say.
