I though that was what we were talking about. Basically, Jack or Miranda come aboard the Normandy before the Cerberus mission. They have a love scene like the other LI's and then you have the option to take them with you. I'd have Miranda and her sister join right after Sanctuary as the Normandy is the safest place in the galaxy.

That was the reason we were given for having Javik files on disc. New squad member would most likely only have dialog on their dlc mission and contribute nothing else dialog wise.
