A lot of these ideas are cool and all, but you have to take into account the characters that CAN die (since Bioware obviously didn't). Anyone who has the potential to die in any previous games cannot be a squadmate, since BioWare refuses to lock players out of content.

But there is also an alternative in some of those cases. Take Kirrahe for example. He can die in the first one, yes, and if he does you should get Rentola on your squad. Rentola doesn't like you as much as Kirrahe, and is a bit more reserved, but he's also done work with Mordin/Maelon meaning his involvement wouldn't be entirely suprising during Tuchanka, and I think adding him would be a good chance to take the character to a new level, and give both more backstory and personality.

I can't agree with you and I explained earlier why. Adding an option for ME2 squadmates to join Shepard is just creating a new path, but it doesn't overwrite different outcomes. And to make it a DLC for everyone, either offer a choice to choose between that squadmate and a totally new squadmate or let it be a result of long and interesting missions that would not require this squadmate to live. This way, the DLC would sell anyway, because everyone can enjoy it. Those, who have the ME2 character alive, receive an additional reward.  And we can suppose that most people who buy DLC's have more than one playthrough, so the possibility of character's death on suicide mission is not a big handicap.

Seriously, has anyone looked at the game files for anymore characters? I know that they confirmed omega with aria's "slumming on the citadel" line...maybe there's something else there.

Maybe Aria becoming a temporary squad mate for Omega?
Or possibly joining the squad to repay Shepard?  But I doubt it, we already have enough biotics on the team.   And I'm sure after retaking Omega, she has to stay and get back to work controling.

Liara could help Aria find out who murdered her daughter if she becomes a permenant squadmate that would be sweeeeeeet!!!!!!

*This particular scene would take place in Liara's Quarters with Shepard, Aria, and of course Liara*

Liara says - "I have come across some rather interesting but sad information"

Shepard says - "what is it ?"

Liara says - "information I think Aria would be very interested in"

Aria says - "i don't like people digging up info on me behind my back especially The Shadow Broker"

Liara interrupts with - "you, Kai Leng, and The Illusive Man have a history"

Aria says - "and ? so does Shepard"

Liara says - "yes but yours is much worse"

Liara elaborates

Shepard - "is all that true Aria ?"

Aria turns her back to Shepard and Liara and looks down

Aria says - "perhaps"

Shepard says - "Aria if we are going to work together i need to know i can trust you and believe your motives for helping me are true."

Aria confesses and elaborates on her past dealings with TIM and Cerberus

Liara says - "I also learned something else about you...........you had a daugther"

Shepard says - "a daughter?"

Aria - "your right her name was _________ she was found murdered"

Shepard says - "murdered? Aria I did not know I am sorry"

Aria says - "sorry wont bring her back Shepard"

Aria says - "I never found out who murdered her"

Liara says - "well you will be surprised to know your daughter's killer is still out there and alive"

Aria says - "who is it where are they?"

Liara says - "they are closer than you think, it was Kai Leng"

Shepard says - "WHAT, Kai Leng?"

Aria says with anger - "Leng"

I don't know why so many people want a krogan just for the sake of having a krogan. I've met plenty of dumb krogan throughout the games who I wouldn't want anywhere near my ship.
