Yeah, it's weird considering the N7 goes up for every gear/weapon unlocked, meaning he had to get reegar drops back to back and with few things else in between

Lol no.
Also look at my manifest, I'm N7 120. I just don't promote, like those guys you saw.

Thats totally not true.
My N7 is 300. I will never promote again (its pointless and makes you play a considerable amount of time with underpowered characters). I have all rares but 4 supermegarare earth gear items on X.
I never spent a single dollar after having purchased my ME3.
You guys should lern how to obtain reliable information.

I'm sorry we don't like re-leveling and looking like condenscending elitists.

@ Nirpas, there's no problem, i was just curious...the RNG gods really must be on their side
After a few months of multiplaying and N7 at a bit over 630, my Harrier is still at level 1

Well i've played a bunch of silver and gold matches in recent days / weeks, if you finish the round, it adds some points in your N7 from that alone.
WTF NO. If your character is at lvl 20, you won't have a higher N7 for finishing a match. You get higher N7 for promoting and re-lvling.

Um, no? Only if you play characters that aren't level 20 already or get character cards for these.

this is no longer common because we no longer get character cards.
it used to happen to people alot, confused about their n7 level.
ex i am level 1993, and havent named my level 20 adept yet, because it hit level 20 from character cards..
when i do name her, my n7 level would be 2013.
i got the +10 for promotion, but i hadnt made the character yet so it hasnt started adding that class.
this could be confused with some matches leveling you, but its the only way.

By how little you know about this game, it's no wonder why your manifest looks the way it does. RNG isn't "on their side," they are likely more succesful at completing golds/platinums or they've played more hours than you.
Trust us, N7 means jack squat.

I would say the person who assumes that would be the one who is "stupid". You can not tell how experienced/good someone is if their N7 ranking is 120 or above. You can get a better idea based on the weapons and gear they have, but that still isn't an great indicator. You CAN get a good idea of how good someone is based on what weapons/gear they equip and if they work with the team.
I have played with 120 level folks who were some of the best I have ever played with. I have played with N7 3000+ people who were just terrible.

You don't understand how the N7 ranking works. I would suggest visiting the ME3 wiki page and read a bit about how MP and N7 ranking work and what they do.
I think you are talking about Galactic Readiness % after every match. That is TOTALLY different from your N7 rank.

I can't see how someone could play only one class for that long and never get bored enough to try any of the five others, but it's technically possible.
