But forcing your believes onto others and trying to alter people from who they're as people isn't right

but what if that's one of the deeper, underlying meanings of Mass Effect 3? whatever choice you make, it isn't the "right" choice, no matter what?

Then I die a little on the inside because we can't make the right choice

The "right" choice is what you make it. It depends on your views. I've seen support for all 3 endings, even the "refuse" ending. It all boils down to what you believe is right personally.

Not everyone is going to have the same point of view as someone else. You can say "X" is the only right ending, someone else will say no "Y" is the only right ending.

Once the EC came out, the endings have made for some thought-provoking arguments from all sides of the fence. Not just here but in other online forums as well. The discussions that stayed civil were VERY interesting. If there's one thing positive I can say about the endings, is that they definitely opened up discussion on some interesting topics depending on which one you chose and why.

I wish the crucible could've been used only to weaken the reapers so we could beat them unfortunately that isn't how things went

well, think about it, it's a war in which survival is the only paramount thing to go by. like Garrus says: 10 billion die so 20 billion can live. it's not right and it's not ideal but it's survival. By Destorying the reapers, you Genocide the Geth and kill off Edi, By Controling (and to some extent Synthesyzing with) the reapers ends the reaper threat, but doesn't end the fact that there are still Reapers out there. and by refusal, you are wasting the lives of Trillions just because of the refusal of action of one man/woman.

None of the endings are Right or Ideal, but they make the galaxy survive.

Who says we can't bring balance to the internet I shall take on that challange lol but yeah the only reason I've been having issues with pitznik is he keeps trying to force his beleives onto me lol

because the internet is a big place to try to bring balance

So is the universe ares but if commander shepard can do it so can we!

Shepard didn't save the universe. Hell she couldn't even save the galaxy. Damn Reaper compromises Posted Image

Also, Liara's mine, don't even try it!

Why do you have no chance? Because you're just an ordinary shield. Whereas I'm her KaiLeng Reaper IFF plotshield.

LOL, they most certainly are not.  I suppose people who play as Sith in KOTOR are all inherently evil, then?

I think this is what we're getting at here.

Interesting to note the colors of each occasion of "We are different" during the first chorus.

IT PROVES IT.

but really, I do agree with you and with that statment. I just wish I could debate some of people where without getting into a hissyfit of the endings.

(and sadly enough, I don't want to bring hissyfitting here now... but isn't this is exactly what Mr. Hudson wanted us to do?)

*goes away to hide from hissyfit*

I agree. All the fights are pointless
I choose Control, but I accept Synthesis, Destroy and Refuse. Because no matter what there is still hope. In all four endings...

Well since I'm a lover and not a fighter.

Maybe I will seduce you, hence proving to Liara that your love in only skin-deep.

So, in short, no.

If they roleplay evil, it is ok.

If they are willing to defend their view point as logical and right, they are evil.

On one hand, this kind of nonsense is what this thread was designed to discuss and stop.

On the other, I at least now know that I don't have to take your posts seriously.

Because it's a point that this entire thread was created to address, and one that I have already addressed in this thread.  You attach personal labels of good/evil based on choices someone makes in a game, which is completely different from real life.  You don't feel the true weight of decisions in a vacuum.  There is (hopefully) a level of detachment in a video game.  Calling someone evil because they try to defend their choice in a video game is beyond silly.

Gooby plz, u kno iz fun to post diz.

Exactly, I get more fun from posting that s*** than by fighting with someone on the internet about Dinosaur DLC.

This is unacceptable.
