I'll promote all 6 no doubt (normally do on these event) ... and then facepalm the first time I try and use a level 1 Novaguard having forgotten how utterly useless they are.

Mind - it might be a chuckle to try and get an entire team of level 1s together to try Gold.

Aw man, I was hoping to never have to promote. N7 120 is a significant number: it specifically indicates a high probability of an experienced player that just doesn't like to promote.

With this mission objective, I'll lose that special number, and be seen just as a noob in lobbies.

Yay because promoting characters is definately a fun, interesting and unique event! Because you know it's not like we can't promote freely as it is.

Yes, promotion operation. This time I'm mostly ready for it, just got to do a few matches. The previous promotion operations have always tended to be announced a few days after I promote but this time I can play in an enjoyable fashion instead of feverishly grinding to get there ahead of the deadline.

An increase is definitely better than the generic, normal packs. But I would like to have 25+ free Medi-Gel instead. Ever since starting Platinum, I've eroded my Medi-gel surplus into a near-shortage. Soon enough, I'll be lucky if I have six to blow on one match!

Message your friends list of people that no longer play ME3. Ask them to start up the game and promote any lvl 20's they have and leave. It's a 5-10 minute job. It's not like they care about leveling back up, right?
