They announced that they aren't doing DA2 DLC any more and are moving onto their next project. Which is DA3.
They said "next project".They never said that it's DA3

Hope they keep the same graphic style of DA2 but a bit darker, and music by Inon Zur.

I think we can safely assume that the "Dragon Age" team is working on what will eventually become DA3. If they weren't, they would be working on something else and called something different.
Unless of course Bioware/EA has decided to gather a bunch of people together and pay them to do nothing, and call that group of people the Dragon Age team. In which case I want to know how I become part of it.

So I want to open with a disclaimer. We're going to talk about some stuff today, and this stuff is not tied to a specific product. Now I think you can all do some mental math, maybe a bit of gymnastics, and figure out what we're really saying, but let's be clear we're not making graven promises here, but we're talking about some ideas and some feedback we got from you guys. We want to make sure, everything, you understand everything is "work in progress," it's ideas. However, you can get a pretty good sense of where things are headed for the future.
No, nothing has been officially announced yet, but it's not like we don't know what's going on. That said, I don't blame them for not announcing anything specifically though. They always have plausible deniability if something bad happens.
And actually, he did say "DA3" once during the PAX East panel, but I think it either slipped out, or was used for lack of another term (continually referring to it as "the next big thing" or "upcoming project" can be tedious.)
