The results of the previous census were as follows:
Pre-service History:
There were approximately equal numbers in this category. About 32% chose the Colonist background and 33% chose Spacer. But the largest piece of the pie comes from Earth, with 35% identifying themselves as Earthborn running with the 10th Street Reds.
Psychological Profile: Apparently, the Ruthless background didn't appeal to the majority, who have such adamant paragon tendencies (scroll down), and only a mere 16% of you chose to butcher the batarians on Torfan. About 26% of you survived that thresher maw attack on Akuze. But most of you - the 58% - chose to instead defend Elysium from slavers and pirates. War heroes are the majority here.
Military Specialization: The least popular class was the Engineer, at a measly 4%. The Sentinel is the second-least popular, at 9%. The top 4 classes are the soldier (33%), the vanguard (28%), the infiltrator (15%), and the adept (11%). It appears to me that combat is more popular than biotics, which is more popular than tech powers given the breakdown that I just mentioned.
Fate of the Rachni Queen: It's interesting to be part of a community of which 87% either thinks genocide is wrong or has a strange fetish for singing bugs. As for the remaining 13%, it remains to be seen whether your decision was the right one or the wrong one in Mass Effect 3 (same as the majority, of course, but keep this in mind for a potential "I told you so" moment).
Feros: It's refreshing to see that over 80% of the community gave Jeong a new hole in his head to whistle out of, and less refreshing to see that over 40% of you chose to put that hole in the back of Shiala's fringe. As for the colonists, I wasn't able to get accurate data out of what has been stated.
Wrex: Almost a UNANIMOUS decision! A staggerring 98% of us love the big lizard guy, and I bet this is the same 98% that loved Barney the dinosaur as children. I mean, the similarities are obvious. Wrex is such a badass, yet also a lovable badass: ending in a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE crash. The remaining 2%? Well, I'm sure you had your reasons.
Kaidan vs. Ashley on Virmire: It's almost equal, but given the results of the romance survey taken in light of this, there is evidently a lot of hate for Kaidan. About 54% chose to sacrifice Kaidan, and 46% left Ash behind instead.
Romance: It's official: Kaidan or Ashley alone are less popular than tissue paper and Vaseline, which are both less popular than... Liara! About 39% of you romanced Liara, 23% romanced Ashley, 11% romanced Kaidan, and 26% thought that good things come to those who wait. And admittedly, in ME1, I am one of them.
Morality: The way I surveyed this was inefficient at best, but it's evident that about 70% of the community has more paragon tendencies, and only 30% lean more towards the dark side of the force.
Fate of the Council: We have yet to see the full extent of the impact of saving or sacrificing the council. Most of us will see the consequence of saving them: 85% sacrificed human lives to save the destiny ascension, and 15% of us saved human lives and focused on Sovereign, losing the Destiny Ascension.
Human Councilor: Well, 85% of us don't like the idea of Udina stabbing us in the back, and Anderson was chosen as councilor. The remaining 15% chose Udina as a political representative in light of his experience.
