I dunno how you define free will, but having someone synthesize you, without your permission is not it.

Do you have Geth and EDI permission to kill them in destroy?

Do you have Galaxy's permission to become a supreme ruler in control?

Do you have Galaxy's permission to betray them despite of "I win" buttons in refusal?

Don't be a hypocrite

I'd rather they just scrap all 4 endings and make better endings and remake Priority: Earth.

Sounds like a good plan, I ****ing hate everything after the space battle.

Having way too high expectations can do cauuse this in people.

As well as overhyping your game.

Neither Bioware nor EA overhyped ME3 especially when you look at ME2 and ME3 while there were more hyping going on when Bioware and Microsoft did ME1.  A real example of overhyping was Battlefield 3.

Did you not hear anything BioWare said pre-release? So much of what they said was bull**** just to hype up their game. Like the Rachni decision having huge consequences especially in the final battle, You'll get answers for everything, it's not an A,B,C ending, etc.

So even if devil shows you a quick and easy way to destroy him, you refuse just because he's a devil?

Nice logic

You have everyone's implicit permission to resist and stop the Reapers. That's destroy or refuse.
I don't agree with sacrificing EDI and the Geth, but EDI herself stated that she would sooner die than serve the Reapers. Think about that the next time you listen to her spout the glories of synthesis.

"I win buttons?" More like "Serve us" buttons. One and all. Choose your method of surrender.

Yes, Galaxy would be very happy with dying for nothing in Refusal ending

And since when destroying the Reapers means surrendering to them? It's "we win, you die, losers" ending

Tell that to the genocidal monster responsible for this, the Catalyst.
The galaxy may die, but it dies knowing it resisted the Reapers until the end.

Because you're following it's agenda. Destroy all synthetic life, because synthetics will inevitably destroy organics.
It remains in control even after it dies, a galaxy shaped by the Reapers. You have to agree to commit genocide to take the easy way out.

I'll ignore this Indoctrination Theory BS part.

Catalyst lives for milions of years,
has already won,  yet he still
wastes time to explain you everything and even shows you a way to kill him. He has absolutely no reason to lie. He didn't even have to appear and he could let Shepard die and let the Cycle continue.

I don't think anyone wanted 100 percent personalized endings. I think people just wanted an ending that didn't suck and didn't involve working with the reapers.

Yet thats opinion on what was good or bad while the disgust on 100 percent personalized endings is easy to find on BSN.

It determined on it's own that it's current solution is unviable. Therefore it requires a new one.
This is entirely about it's own interests. Not Shepard's and not anyone else's. It's all about the Catalyst.

Yes. The greatness of the Reapers.

How does that make sense? The Reapers didn't lose anything. Except for casualties that cannot be brought back anyway.

Sorry, my mistake... I was expecting sense from you.

YAY! We let the Reapers murder everyone but we will be murdered as free people! That was definitely worth it! We are so happy that Shepard decided to let everyone die, instead of killing all Reapers instantly and letting us win!

Nope...
The Reapers commit genocide, and you do everything short of crossing the Godzilla threshold to stop them...
Although if you played Arrival, you crossed that threshold once already, and you auto-defend doing so...

The Reapers were a flawed solution to begin with. The Catalyst knows it. Synthesis is it's idea of a perfect solution.
Of course what you'll never get is that the solutions were never the problem. The logic behind them was, therefore any solution will be flawed.
But to the Catalyst, this is perfection. This is greatness. This recovers all that was lost by connecting the civilisations it snuffed out to the current ones.

Sorry, my mistake... I was expecting sense from you.

I was expecting you to go more than one post without attacking someone.
Actually, no. No I wasn't.

Shepard lets no one die. Shepard decides to fight the Catalyst. The Catalyst decides to murder.
We can only resist.

Killing him is following his agenda? Ok lol

Again you're assuming - for no real reason - that the Catalyst puts self-preservation before it's agenda.
You expect it to think like a human.

And in refusal you don't commit genocide? Brb my brain almost stopped working -.-

No. The Catalyst commits genocide. This is pretty obvious.
