WAIT  if edi is part of the normandy, but was in that body and that green light hit them. what happens to the normandy?> i mean in synthesis everything turns into something else, i just mean how would that work ifn edi has control of normandy and the body , if she is just in control of the normandy than wouldn't the body develope a personality of its own? could probably ask teh question better but whatever   and wouldn't the ship develope a personality of its own also? i mean edi is just a passegder in the normandy or some bs

Are we presenting them that way? Or do you subconsciously regard them that way? Who can say..

It can't be trusted when it has reason to lie. It is a liar, but it is also confident in it's agenda. Why would it lie about this? Even if it is wrong, you are still accepting it's price. Accepting the future it wishes to hand to you. Accepting it's control.

Come on. You know the answer to that. The Catalyst would rather you not pick Destroy because it's not a permanent solution to his problem. It has plenty of reasons to lie and or exaggerate about hypothetical future conflicts with synthetics.

First of all, if it knows it is negative, then it has already stopped and thought that it is wrong. Why? Who knows what conclusion he reached. Maybe it's simply wrong "for some organic reason I do not understand."

Second, it being negative may not have been enough reason for him to change his mind. Called "choosing the lesser of two evils" ... something that is done all the time.

Unlike the Catalyst or it's apologists am not an absolutist. I don't know for sure it'll start a conflict.
But it won't help. It won't be the best start and the legacy of betrayal will always linger.
