PS3 users don't know anything about Feros or Shiala
Pretty much
and they could have Shiala sum up the ME1 Feros mission, since Zhu's Hope is mentioned for the PS3
Feros/Shiala dlc

If she's dead how will that work?
Yeah I'm not sure that BioWare would make DLC around characters that could possibly be dead......I guess they could substitute her for some other random Feros colonist for the quest, but having Shiala as a love interest/squadmate would potentially be a waste of content. Especially for PS3 users because she's not in the game by default, same with Kirrahe (even if they play the genesis comic)

Bravo, tonnactus. She's always alive for me, but that's a good idea for those who could never save her.AresKeith wrote...

In the OP under the Notes section I stated that if Shiala was killed. LizBeth's mother will send you the message and meet you at Zhu's Hope.United_Strafes wrote...

Or bioware could just pull a rachni

I prefer the Shiala clone, but LizBeth's mother could still send the message. That sounds reasonable lol

Too much emphasis on a character that is likely dead for a lot of folks.

I really like the idea of revisiting a ME1 site, which gives you a sense of nostalgia (like the Normandy crash site), but is paired with some fresh content.
And, honestly: If it features Shiala, buying this DLC would be a no-brainer for me! Once you go green, you never go back... or so they say...

I know what you mean. It does make me upset that they hinted at her being an LI in ME2 but didn't go farther with it. Same with Parasini.Medievalist wrote...

So maybe the thorian awakens every cycle. Whether to help or just to watch the chaos and death like a d***. Maybe the protheans were experimenting on it but eventually turned into Thorian creepers themselves. Since Zhu's Hope is built on the ruins of the Prothean Metropolis perhaps there is a research station buried in the ruins with what they found out about the thorian. The Thorian's mind control ability could be similar to indoctrination and the protheans were studying it to find a way to prevent becoming indoctrinated. Perhaps when Javik hears of what happened on to Zhu's Hope he mentions hear rumors about a Prothean research team studying the thorian to help fight the reapers.
See, you can't come up with an idea that you thought of something and it's somehow new.
The Thorian's mind control ability could be similar to indoctrination and the protheans were studying it to find a way to prevent becoming indoctrinated.
There is not a "could be",. this was why Saren was so interested in the Thorian in the first place. He thought the best solution was to better understand the Thorian's spores, which flood a subjects body and created a controlling effect, in hopes that if his fears were right, he could resist Indoctrination. My guess is the Protheans were researching for the same reason, much like how scientists compare viruses of similar chemical makeup but of different effects in hopes to combat the serious one.
