Has anybody ever noticed the parallels between the Grey Wardens and the Yevon religion from Final Fantasy X?

Think about it.

In Final Fantasy X, every few generations this big monster called Sin arises and destroys stuff. So the Yevon order has its Summoners do the Pilgrimage and get a Final Aeon to kill Sin. But this action kills the Summoner and Sins soul transfers into the Aeon and is reborn for the next cycle.

In Dragon Age, every few centuries a giant tainted dragon called an archdemon arises and destroys stuff. So the Grey Wardens battle it and kill it. But this kills the Grey Warden who takes the final blow, but if a non-warden slays it, its soul moves into the nearest darkspawn and it is reborn.

There's also the fact that it turned out that the Yevon Order's clergy not only knew the truth behind Sin and how to stop it completely, but that it's soul, Yu Yevon, was their god.

The Grey Wardens know more about darkspawn than arguaby anybody else. So what if the whole truth about the darkspawn -- where they come from, why the archdemons want to destroy -- is known to The First Warden and other high ranking members of the order, and they've got another agenda that we don't know about?

Beyond the artificial similarities of heroes have to stop evil that respawns every 100ish years and results in atleast one heroes death not particularly. And this is a theme that is much, much older than FFX. Even ancient Greek tales often had the hero forced to sacrifice himself to end an evil.

As to your later points, we know where darkspawn came from, Legacy confirmed Darkspawn were the result of a failed attempt by magisters to gain control over the Golden City.

SPOILER
Corypheus is one of those Magisters and is turned into a darkspawn as a consequence of his action.
This doesnt mean the maker did it, it just means entering the Golden/Black City corrupted him and his fellows and unleashed the darkspawn.

END SPOILERS

So as to alternate agendas, the only agenda Grey Wardens have ever had was to end the blights, and one misguided coup attempt.

You could also compare Flemeth and Morrigan to the Sorceress's in Final Fantasy 8 too. Especially Flemeth's DA2 design when you compare it to Edea.

There is nothing original anymore, there will be similarities in every story you read/play/watch. You would only think something is completely original if you lived in a cave as a hermit.

And reapers come every 50,000 years

Cyclical destruction is part of mythology.. We see a lot of it on fantasy and sci-fi work

Yeah I know we know how Darkspawn came to be. But we don't know what the old gods truly are, and we don't know what really made the Black City black, or if it was ever gold.

But the Wardens might know. The fact that the Warden-Commanders are allowed to know the locations of the ancient prisons means they have secrets that should be public knowledge.

There's also the question of what will happen to the darkspawn when all of the old gods are slain. Will they cease hostilities or will the darkspawn all come to the surface and kill everything?(Arguably the call is what keeps them underground.)

Hmm.. in the calling the Warden Commander does say the senior Wardens DO know the location of the Old Gods, which seems rather odd. Maybe they do have some other hidden info as well.
