On incendiary ammo - the DOT % is lower than Warp/AP ammo. I'm going to guess/assume that this is because that percentage is multiplied by time (x seconds), because if it doesn't then I don't see how Incendiary ammo is any good.

Can we determine how long the DOT for a single bullet lasts for? Wondering if a single Incendiary shot does more total damage via its DoT vs. the instant bonus damage of Warp/AP.

This leaves me with a few more questions though?

Is the stacking additive or multiplicative?
How does the engine determine which effect to prioritize? Will a 50% Warp get overwritten by Cryo Ammo I?
Are there other forms of armor penalty reduction? How about Homing grenades "Weapon Damage Mitigation"?

APiercing modifiers stack (aP ammo ap mod ..)
AP piercing and AP weakening - multiplicatively (numeric examples in the first link in my singnature - weapon damage formula)  ..

Between weakening effects I would go with lat one overrides the rest - not 100% on it - might test it some more ... Certain is they never stack - either the strongest effect prevails or (far more likely) the last one overrides ...
How about Homing grenades "Weapon Damage Mitigation" - not tested yet ... Today I will probably test Tactical Scan (nothing to do with armor reduction - its just what I feel like testing today )

Good stuff as always guys. One question: so I take it from your wording on warp ammo that its damage bonus applies to everything? Not just barriers, right?

Barriers, Armor & Health - not to shields

I remember from ME2 that frozen enemies took double damage. Does that still apply in ME3?

These are absolute confirmed numbers.

If you don't feel that these numbers are accurate, feel free to provide an alternate source of confirmed numbers.

No. The Damage bonus is very small for freezing sucka's

Would make sense that Incendiary doesn't get as much because it also primes fire explosions. Disruptor is even weaker probably because it causes stuns and tech bursts are more accessible to use than fire explosions. Cryo weaker still because it can incapacitate enemies for a long time as well as prime.

From my limited testing with Incendiary Ammo so far, it is determined that one shot's total damage bonus is applied over 3 seconds. It does not apply the damage multiplied by x seconds.

In order words, it is less damaging than Warp or AP ammo. Please note that this is for just one shot. Further tests with Incendiary IV will be made as soon as the ME3 servers stop preventing me access.

50% damage for Incendiary ammo IV .. Excellent - this means all shielded non-boss enemies on gold should be 1 hs killable by a GI with Javelin X .. Now all we need its a volunteer to test and record a few such kills ...

Nice work!

One question though: did you test Warp ammo against barriers? I've heard multiple times that it has a greater damage bonus against barriers than against other defense types.

I've been playing around with GI and Javelin X and yes, everything dies from one headshot including Phantoms which is so, so sweet. Not sure about Pyros though, I haven't played enough against Geth as I hate them =) But as you said, they die because of explosion anyway.

I've noticed one thing though: Targeting VI is some really buggy BS. I can't one-headshot Nemesis with it even though it should be possible. And observed damage is almost the same as without Targeting VI. I mean, without ammo damage (I've been comparing pure shots vs. Targeting VI shots without any ammo). I have no idea what's going on nor I did any further testing, I just started using SR Amps instead of Targeting VIs.

That would depend on what gun you are using.

I guess I can test a few of the low level ammunition for that, but that would mean the unsavory prospect of testing against either a phantom or a banshee.

Barrel, Choke, AP.

Some people have also reported space magic with rapid-fire/multiple Incendiary, but I have no results regarding that.
