I have no idea what's going on nor I did any further testing, I just started using SR Amps instead of Targeting VIs.


Could you post a video of some insta hs kills vs shielded enemies? Pyros died in 1 shot even without shield gate 10%.. You had to pierce their fuel tank with a cover penetrating weapon (jav , widow) ... Shield dies to weapon shot then thei tank blows up and kills them .. Same for cerberus engineers ...

Targeting VI - I will test it some more ...

what about lev 4 shield upgrade and biotic power upgrade? and is there a tech upgrade lev 4 as well? i was thinking about 4 demolishers or biotic team but I lack data on lev 4 gear. how much shields it gives and how does it work with homing/arc grenades, biotic and electric slash etc. is it also like 50% more dmg? is it reduced in any way? or just plain 50% more to any target?

Cyclonic Modulator IV
Rumour has it that it gives +150% base shields/barriers

Power Amplifier IV (for all powers):
%bonus? Don't know.
Does it work with every single type of grenade on every class? Don't know.
Does it work with BS/ES? Highly likely.
It is like 50% more damage? No. I believe it adds the base damage of the power. The higher level of the power, the less % damage it adds overall.

If enough people wants to know this, I can test it.

That explains why the reegar with AP rounds IV can take down a brute so damn quickly. Thank you for running the numbers. It explains a lot of the stuff that was happening and that I've been wondering about.

I'm a bit lazy at the moment so I've just uploaded the whole 6-wave solo. Plenty of Nemesis and Phantom kills at wave 6 so you might just skip to that point. I'll give some links to interesting one-headshot kills in the description when it's ready.

Nemesis' die from a non-cloaked headshot, by the way :)

PS I do suck with Javelin. I've never really played with it before the SG change and I'm not a fan. It's just quite amusing to one-shot shielded things through cover — something I can't do with my beloved BW or Kishok =)

PPS Targeting VI BS: . Two Nemesis headshots, one leaves her with 3 bars of HP, the second with one bar of HP. Something's wrong here. Because it should've killed her right away — those 17K damage should be enough even for 1.5K HP and 2K shields. But instead it doesn't kill it and the damage is inconsistent.

You're more than welcome :) It's the least I could do after all that info you've provided for this community, huh :)

Anyway, I'm not really thrilled about the idea of advertising this video... Mah skillz, you know, they suck in this match :D So I won't be posting a thread myself. But if you'll ever need it as a proof in your own thread — feel free to use it.

both nemezis are behind cover so you pierce cover first.
yeah I know that jevelin has 100% pierce damage but maybe there is some bug with it.  clean shot  is IMO needed.

Well, I've had enough clean shots and it won't work as well. Not even close. So this video is just a quick example. In fact, I'm not that interested in Targeting VI anymore: clearly, it doesn't work as intended and I have no hope for the fix, not in this game. So I've just stopped using it except on my Asari Adept against Cerberus (it adds just enough damage to one-headshot Nemesis shields so I use it when I don't want to waste Pistol Rail amps).

But we're derailing the thread 0:)

I think the first Nemesis you shot still had spawn protection (damage reduction). That would be my guess as to why you did less damage, compared to the second one.

Sadly I have not been able to determine more info on incendiary ammo due to servers kicking me out yesterday.

From OP:
No further tests will be made today. EA servers have already kicked me out of my own game FOUR TIMES during tests. I am sad.

To be tested:
vs shields
vs armor
Armor weakening
Stacking with rapid fire

It has a .5 Armor multipier, and a 2 X shields/barriers multiplier.


This is the same mechanic that allows for the Typhoon to only inflict the Revenants damage, but still do more damage.... So it may break randomly when certain weapon mods are used.

any chance of a force test on the power amplifier modules? i keep reading people stating those things improve force in addition to damage, and that puzzles me a bit

also if you already did the testing and i missed it in the wall of numbers, my bad :D

Yes, I know that, but I'm talking about the so-called burst count of the Reegar. The Reegar, in some form or another has a "burst count" of 5. This obviously has no effect on the ammo consumption, but it could help explain the very confusing DPS numbers of the Reegar. Without a further multiplier (due to burst), the Reegar's DPS numbers just don't feel right to me.

1: Use a weapon with a high chance of apply ammo effects like Scorpion or Falcon.

2: Shoot at somebody with shields or barriers. (In the case of the scorpion, make sure the explosive sticks on the target)

3: Observe if the s/b (on top of the screen) is blinking for about 3 seconds.

4: (Optional) Use a memory editor to see if their s/b is taking dot damage.
