Incendiary Ammo IV test results:
+0% damage to shields
+100% damage to armor  Edit: +50% damage to armor, higher if stacked before previous effect expires See below posts for corrections
Did not test on barriers (sorry I ain't standing still shooting at banshees or phantoms)




Test parameters:
Me = Kroguard
Target = 3-4 Geth Primes on Bronze
Weapon = Scorpion V. Base DMG = 416.89 (based on Narida's tool). Kit Bonus: +10%
Equip = Incendiary IV ammo and Cyclonic IV.


Observed damage based on Tangster's MP Enemy Updated docs.


8 hits (explosion and DOT) to drop 7 shield boxes
Observed shield damage = 5250 * 0.7 = 3675
Calculated damage if Incendiary has no effect on shields = 416.89*(1+0.05+0.05+0.00)*8 = 3668.632

4 hits (explosion and DOT) to drop 5 armor boxes (I fired 4 shots at a time)
Observed armor damage = 7500*0.5 = 3750
Calculated damage if incendiary IV has +50% damage on armor = 416.89*(1+0.05+0.05+0.50)*4 = 2668.096
Calculated damage if incendiary IV has +100% damage on armor = 416.89*(1+0.05+0.05+1.00)*4 = 3501.876 <-- this is probably it

Additional armor hits assuming incendiary IV has +100% damage on armor
6 hits to drop 7 armor boxes (Observed = 5250, Calculated = 5253)
7 hits to drop 8 armor boxes (Observed = 6000, Calculated = 6128)
8 hits to drop 9 armor boxes (Observed = 6750, Calculated = 7003)
9 hits to kill (Observed = 7500, Calculated = 7879)



Further tests:
On Geth Pyro: Incendiary ammo has no damage effect on shields. The shield bar blinks, but no actual damage is dealt.

Thanks.

2x bonus damage on armor was busted. A single unstacked DoT on armor does normal damage.

The bonus damage comes from stacking multiple DoTs from incendiary ammo (up to 200% bonus observed), exact mechanics unknown.

If stacked with a biotic DoT with a long duration/weakening effects/don't know (warp) space magic occurs.

More tests on my side support corlist's findings that the starting damage bonus for incendiary IV is 50% and stacks higher if you shoot multiple rounds.

There are multiple ways "stacking" can mean.
1. New shots don't cancel the previous ones OR previous shot does not cancel new shot's effect. Example: Biotic primer + Tech primer. They don't help each other but they don't cancel each other either.
2. Multiple shots have their own independent DOTs. Not sure what example power is applicable.
3. Multiple shots interact. A new shot's effect is added to the previous shot(s), making effects stronger. Example is Incendiary ammo we tested.

Load outs and calculated damages:
WITHOUT Incendiary Ammo IV:
416.89 base scorpion V
+25% pistol barrel V
+5% krogan BM 1
+5% krogan BM 3
+20% pistol rail amp I
I= 646.18

WITH Incendiary Ammo IV:
+50% (1 stack) incendiary IV = 854.63
[1, 2, 3, 4] stacked = [854.62, 1063.07, 1271.51, 1479.96]
Now, I shot at a Geth Prime on Bronze, Wave 8, either VERY SLOWLY (one shot every 4 seconds) or VERY FAST (as fast as I can shoot and reload). First used melee or biotic charge to drop shields. Then used scorpion on armor.

Results Without Incendiary Ammo IV:
Observed: 11 shots to drop the armorCalculated: 
7500/646.18 = 11.6 = 12
Discrepency: I might have already dented its armor, hence needing one fewer shot

Results With Incendiary Ammo IV, shooting VERY SLOWLY:
Observed: 9 shots to drop the armor
Calculated: 7500/854.63 = 8.8 = 9

Results With Incendiary Ammo IV, shooting VERY FAST:
Observed: 6 shots to drop the armor
Calculated: 7500/[854.62, 1063.07, 1271.51, 1479.96] = [8.8, 7.1, 5.9, 5.1] = [9, 8, 6, 6]
So it was likely that I stacked 3 or 4 effects during this test.

I don't know for sure if it true, but I observed one thing with incendiary ammo.
Dot doesn't deal damage vs shields, but shields are blinking and probably dot is applied but with zero damage.
But it looks that this dot damage "bleed through" after shields are gone.
I've done quick test with PPR on gold atlas with incendiary III.
Atlas has 3 bars of shield, I started using ppr and stoped right after I droped shields. 2-3 bars of armor was damaged by dot.
Maybe my timing was bad (I repeat this test 3 times on this atlas waiting for shield recharge) but it looks that DOT stacked when shielded starts doing damage right after target looses shields.
Still it need to be tested and confirmed with some better tools.

Stats for ammo can be seen in-game now anyways but extra hidden stuff regarding the new ammo types can be seen here.
