Wrong too. It only gets you banned if you continue to play with the glitchers, if you pkay for one game and then leave, you will be fine. Staying in the game shows others that you want to continue this.

This is what I meant in a way.  If you play a match through to the end with a glitcher and take the credits, you should be banned.  My point is, the moment you find out you have a glitcher in your game you should immediately leave and report them. 

I'll only do this if I'm reimbursed for the Level III and IV consumables I wasted.

Really? The missile glitch is back again?

Well, that's what apparently happens if you try to to fix something with a cheap work around instead of REALLY fixing the basis for all the lag induced problems and glitches (like the Vanguard glitch for example).

So what's going to happen next? I guess word will spread quickly, lobbies will be infested with Missile Glitchers again, there will be more and more complaints on BSN and finally BW will try another work-around through the balance changes or whatever and the problem will be postponed for some more weeks again.

I don't get it why they can't get to the root of the whole problem. At least we got an official statement (i.e. one-liner) saying that they are still working on the Vanguard Glitch. I was already losing hope...


I also don't get it why people are rocket gltiching in the first place!
I mean what's the point? You are gaining a lot of credits and thus can buy a lot of packs. But what for? To get more and better weapons, right? But what do you need the better weapons for, if all you do (and all you can!) is shooting an infinite amount of missiles out of your regular weapon!?!?! With that glitch any glitch capable weapon would be enough. And where is the fun anyway if you blast anything and everything into oblivion by using (abusing) a power that is meant to be the last resort and thus limited to 5 missiles per game? If anything dies immediately after clicking the right trigger, why even play the game in the first place? To feel a little like having godlike powers? 
In a computer game? Some people seem to have a weird conception of fun...

Most of the lobbies i bump into are infested with the missile glitchers. Yeah it would be nice to hear from Bioware on the progress of it being permanently fixed. Oh well.

You know its funny. I play a lot on xbox but I've never run into missile glitchers. None. Haven't seen any kind of cheating(which I will conceed is rare on any platform INCLUDING PC). I do play with friends a lot but we usually have a random or two in the party. Maybe I'm just lucky. Though I will say I have seen ONE cheat when my nephew was playing on his PS3; guy was invicible but couldn't count for missions. everyone died during one except him and it wouldn't let him score the pizza, but he couldn't die. Not trying to start a flame war but is cheating really bad on PS3?

Just don't group with the same guy twice. The way people complain about glitchers, it seems they find a new one every plat match

Bioware doesn't want people to feel they wasted consumables or be over worried about being banned everytime they step into a game, so they are fine with people benefiting off missile glitchers so long as they don't do it themselves and leave the lobby ( or kick the glitcher) after the game

Had a guy do the glitch last night on the last round on platinum. I just thought was was the point of that. We made it that far without the damned glitch then here he/she comes.

Just for curiosity, do you know or ever heard about banned PS3 players? I'm asking this because all the messages I see here on the forum about banned players are on PC and Xbox. I've only started to be more aware of glitchers since I clearly run across one (that I reported). And now I tend to see much more of them (just lack of luck or because I've ventured more often in platinum). But those of you that are around for more time, have cheaters on PS3 decreased or it looks like it's the same (or more)? That's why I posted my first question.

Yet another thread I post this: Report to xlive too if on 360. Bio ban would be nice, but personally I go for jugular and I want to get them xlive banned and unable to play *ALL* online games (if they cheat in this one they'll cheat in another)
