So I was thinking about doing a fresh Femshep play through from ME1-3 as I have never played femshep. So I watched a few videos on YouTube to see how the voice acting was like. And I have to ask,
1) Is it me or is femshep always angry?
2) do NPC's treat femshep different to malshep?
3) Is a play through as Femshep different enough to be worthwhile?

1) She's seemed a fair bit more normal in Mass Effect 1, the case where I agree Hale was a better VO than Mere. The problem in my view is that as the series progresses she tried to put on too much of a 'tough girl' act with FemShep. ME1 nailed it, but by ME3 it sounds way too forced and strained. Compare Male Shep during the ME3 finale where he sounds wounded and in bad shape, whereas FemShep sounds like she's shovelling gravel down her throat and channelling Hulk. I know the fangirls are going to eat me alive for this post but whatever.
2) Bar romances? 99.9% of cases no. There's a few lines here and there, like one Batarian on Omega assuming she's there for a stropper position.
3) Aside from seeing the different romances? Not really. If you want to do a Para and Renegade run then it might be neat just to mix things up a bit.

1. No, she’s not. Her action scene voice is a little overwrought or over-tough, but on the other hand, she’s awesome everywhere else—especially the more intimate scenes. (Disclaimer: I think BoyShep sounds like a monotonous robot everywhere except the action scenes.)
2. Extremely minor differences, nothing that affects the story in any way.
3. Yes.

1. Her voice acting is good, just slightly different than Meer.
2. She's broshep with boobs. In fact, the one time I played through with femshep, I quit the moment she survived headbutting that krogan in ME2. Broshep's a big muscular dude, and I barely buy it with him. Femshep is a 98 pound waif, no way.
3. If you want to, you should. Hale is a great VA.

1. Femshep can have quite a soft side to her. Her voice acting contains in my opinion a little bit more emotion than maleshep, but I like it.
2. Minor changes
3. Yes

Thanks for the feed back all. When I have the time I'll roll a femshep.

Depending on how you make Femshep's face, she can look pissed off or annoyed quite often, which can color your perception of her voice acting.
The same is probably true of Broshep, but I wouldn't know cause I've never played one
