No, not ever. Not me at least.

Are you expecting many true Yes answers?

It is possible for anyone to do this. With a lot of time and luck. It would probably take upwards of an hour and the easiest objectives but it is possible.

Then again, it is possible for a baby to beat up a professional boxer. Does it happen? No (at least I don't think it has).

I think extraction would be near impossible but I could probably get past wave 6.

I can't. I can imagine the destroyer probably being the best level 1 character for the job with the whole turning devestator mode on and starting with 1000/1000 shields and health.

I am trying to imagine a scenario where that could be possible, but I am drawing a blank.

A level 1 character with level X weapons and level III/IV consumables, I think it's possible, just highly improbable.

Whomever's going to try this will have no room for error, as a level 1 character will likely be knocked-out very easily by mere potshots. No room for mistakes in kiting and herding mobs. And willing to be at this for a few hours.

Baby kicks over a can and the boxer falls over it and KO's, allowing baby to try to hurt the boxer but ultimately fail.

I mistyped this as 'van' the first time, only baby Chuck Norris could achieve such a feat.

Lol, fair enough.  When I hear 'beat up' I think of a physical altercation between individuals.  The baby kicking a van sounds excellent, though.

Someone did gold with a level 1, and honestly the difference of gold and platinum for a level 1 character is negible...

But once again most of the great players moved on or don't play as much, so too little too late.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! No. Because there is some annoying objectives, like escort a Drone, Pick up an object, Enable/Disable Devices... sooo, if someone try to Solo Platinum, I'm fully certain that he will lose in those waves.

OR: You could have an Infiltrator with Good Weapons, Good Gear, good upgrades and good powers and good power duration, like the Tactical Cloak, so MAYBE the player could win. But obviously, this wouldn't work with a level 1 Character. So: No...

They would have to be lucky with some of the objectives but I think for sure it could be done.  Never underestimate the quality of player that is out there.  Time and again BioWare itself  has thought they had a true killer insane level of play and teams or individuals take it down within days if not hours.

Escort missions are the easiest, just abuse soft cover and only kill direct threats.
Pizza Deliveries are complete bollocks when soloing because it slows down tanks too much for them to be useful and takes away the main advantage of using agile classes.

What about the Disable/Enable Devices objective? They are a pain in the ass, even on Bronze when in solo mode...

It would definitely be easiest with an infiltrator. I don't think it's impossible, though. Beerfish was right. It may be hard to imagine, but probably not impossible.

The wave budget is pretty high, and respawns are unlimited, so taking out lesser characters would take a very long time until you've left the harder bosses for last. Also, with the shield regeneration in Platinum, it would be very annoying.

There'd be a substantial amount of kiting around, and you'd have to be very lucky with objectives. An escort mission on a big map with many lines of sight at Wave 10 could be a death sentence.

Giant's probably the easiest map to solo on. If it could be done, it would probably be done there first.

As long as you can kite the enemies to another position, you should have ample time to enable/disable.  The problem is the device's location.  On Jade, one of the locations for the device is in the center of the map, where enemies can shoot you from all directions.  With a level 1 Infiltrator, you wouldn't have the duration necessary to stand a chance.
