- You can evade rockets and Banshee's Warp if you roll to your side in the right moment. Doesn't always work, but if you're getting attacked by a lot of enemies it is a potential life saver.

- Don't be ignorant to Geth Primes Turret's. They can be quite annoying, especially if the Prime spawns one right behind you. They are fairly accurate and a lot of times when I fought against Primes and had low health, they would give me the rest. They only take on shot to kill though.

- Don't try to kick players on Gold if it takes longer than 20 seconds for them to get ready. Chances are, they are applying new mods to their weapons, choosing a new one, or picking different consumables. Or the short version: don't be so damn impatient, goddamnit!

Use "sleeping pills" before you drink that bleach!

Look, I was very aware that really smart and thoughtful people had put together very comprehensive lists like this before. But I liked the idea of everyone getting involved and sharing what they know as a community. I think it was posiitve and went well. Thanks for helping out...

Doing dodge moves gives you damage reduction even if you still get hit by whatever you were trying to dodge.

This can be a life-saver if you have 1 bar of health left and a banshee's warp would usually break your shieldgate. Even if you know you're going to get hit, dodge anyway because it might prevent the warp from instantly breaking shieldgate, meaning the DoT won't kill your last bar of health.

If you play a demolisher and you know you're going to get a jumbo pack, you can freely spam granades: in the latter waves, I have 10+10*5 ammo packs, 60 granades that I can trow and the barrage will tear apart spawns like crazy.....

With the demolisher, use only one gun, plant the pylon often and you have free grenades: you can trow two of them every 7-8 seconds or so and never go out... I like granades, harrier clip, reload, cancel-reload with granades, harrier clip.....

You can usually hear the sounds of mods being applied and such, also you can watch the players load out to see if they are actually doing anything or not.  20 seconds?  Now that is way too short to kick, 4 minutes or more?  Tha tis sufficient reason to kick unless the person communicates over mic they are going to be away for a wee bit can can you please wait for them.

If you need to pop a headshot, use a targetting power like warp or a grenade or incinerate - it will stop for a few seconds allowing you to pound it (in the ***)

I don't think its been mentioned yet (sorry if it has) but you cannot get synch killed on ramped/uneven surfaces. As a vanguard get the banshee to chase you onto a ramp before charging them (also really effective if you need to melee them)

Banshee warps can be evaded with ease if you dodge one way then the other (so left the immediately right)

You can dodge faster if you roll on an angle rather then just left or right

You can get rid of you missle launcher from your back by pulling it out then switch your weapon and immediately do a heavy melee.

Justicar bubble is easier deployed at close range if you look at the ground

You can quick shot a GPS by chargin it, let go of the fire button and immediately fire again. 2 back to backshots :)

Turkey taste better deep fried

If being chased by a phantom use a power on her, she will stop and put her dumb bubble up letting you shoot her stupid head off.

If your a paladin andyou get hit by a banshee scream or warp, putting your shield down will stop the bleed affect.

Shoot them first and it won't miss.

That's obvious, but cloak flickers when you shoot them so they are not actually considered as cloaked if they are suffering damage that way (or from DoT for that matter)...
What you wrote is the whole point of my advice...

When the host leaves, don't press ANY BUTTON if you want to carry on, just wait and you will restart the wave with other team mates (who haven't pressed anything!) The message you get about 'restarting wave' and showing a button to press (X on PS3) makes it deceptive.

Smart Choke does nothing for the Reegar Carbine.

You *can* get head shots with the Reegar, despite the fact that it shoots electricity flamethrower style.

Really! I do that and I thought I noticed a difference. DOH!

If you are not running with a class that gets rid of guardians large shield (stasis, pull) and are not using an AP mod on your weapon use the GPMG with weight reduction and an AP mod as a secondary weapon. It weights almost nothing and you can whip it our and blast through the shield fairly quickly.

Also strictly from a points gloming point of view it appears to me that when extraction happens the game kills all the enemy critters and you can get credit for kill if you were the last person attacking a creature so even if a brute is off in the distance at full health and no threat pop off shots at him or use biotic/tech attacks. (This will have to be confirmed by other posters on here.)

(Edit for accidently typing gpsg rather than machine gun.  :(  )

To the extraction kills, I can confirm it works, it also counts toward medals. Gotten 75 kills medal by doing that.

Don't be afraid to use rockets on non-bosses in certain situations. If everyone else has gone down and you're being stalked by a couple of hunters and pyros (or more), take them out.

If you end up the last man, don't try to camp. Fire and move, try to take them on one at a time.

Think about when you revive people. If you get put down a millisecond after reviving, yes you're a goddamn hero (as Zaeed says), but you've just passed the problem onto the poor guy you've revived. But don't leave anyone there to die unless you absolutely have to, no matter how awful they may be. You never know when they may bail you out.

and speak on the mic! Communication makes a massive difference regardless of level.

I was leveling my AJA on Bronze and the three other guys refused to go into the hack circle, and we got 2 of those and I had to escort the drone by myself too. It turned a 14 minute match into a 20 minute one, with less credits.

*facepalm*

Oh god, this made me rage the other day, was sitting in a hack circle on my own while the other 3 players were running around shooting and then getting themselves killed. They weren't even drawing away enemy fire from me so I had to defend myself while hacking. Eventually i got overwhelmed and died, and just rage quit.

You will also replentish your consumables after the restart.  So the host leaving in later rounds isn't as bad it seems when you get a fresh supply of rockets/clips/gel/ops.
