Once i heard Anora's assistant's accent.
I just... i just couldn't if Bioware makes any of my companions with THAT strong of an accent i will cry. I hope we have more people with Leliana's accent. Leliana's accent was not only bearable but cute as hell.

Leliana's VA could voice all the characters in the game and I'd be in heaven... I love her voice... no issue with the accent or any accent as long as its done right.

If there must be french accents, then I want this.
On a serious note, I always felt the accents for the evil/pompous/un-bearable Orlesians fit their character and BioWare was just taking the mickey out of them, but if you take Leliana she's perfectly good (I guess...) and her accent is just, well, awesome.
Maybe we'll encounter more diverse accents in Orlais given we'll be running into the ones the country doesn't export out of sheer embarrassment.

Weird the only orlesian accent I don't like was Lelianas, the way she sounded french, bur like she was talking through perma pursed lips... meh, actually if we could get some male companion voiced by Roy Dupuis!

The actor isn't a native francophone, but he does a great job with the accent. Could actually imagine Rhys sounding something like this.

Characters like the De Launcets are walking jokes, of course they'd have horrendous voices. And Isolde was just a random abomination. Doesn't mean all French accents are terrible. Just look at Riordan/Stroud. He has one of the best voices in the game.

For my part, anytime we use a "foreign" accent (I leave it up to you to figure out what such an accent is. Lets face it, there are "foreign" accents within our own countries from people who have lived here for generations) the point is to try to make it real. I think Leliana sounded correct. If we had made her sound like Inspector Clouseau, we would have failed.
