The Typhoon was hipfired: On classes that have accuracy bonuses, the Revenant is far more accurate when hipfired. It only makes sense that you would waste fewer Typhoon bullets this way as well.

The Atlas died 6 seconds after the Typhoon opened fire on it.
The Fastest recorded Killing of an atlas with the Pirhana is 10 seconds, with a GI and two proxys on the atlas.
But Wait, Rokayt, Didn't you say we would need to NOT take the ROF evolution, and equip a magazine upgrade to do this?
Well... That combo should do it without AP ammo, due to you getting as many bullets as Abjihit effectively used. If you do not feel like using an AP III (People have reported AP IV not working on the Typhoon. I don't see why this would be the case... But take it at face value, beause, hell... I cant investigate it,) every time you want to kill an atlas, go with the big ammo Typhoon, or the Typhoon with AP ammo..
So... What happened?
Did you notice how I told you to notice that he was firing at the window at a sharp upwards angle?
Hitting an atlas with a high penetration weapon like this (1.25 meters, in this case) will cause your bullet to hit twice, doing 170% damage.
This is most noticable when the big guy is still shielded... Because the shield getting hit sound plays twice per bullet. (At least with the Raptor. The Typhoon firing twice as fast as the raptor did already... Might not be as noticable.)
Back in the good old days, I was exploiting this with the Raptor to take out gold atlases in 15 seconds.... and top every (Non Legion effect) scoreboard I entered for almost a month.
The Glitch was supposedly fixed by a patch, and when hosting Abhijid couldn't 1 mag atlases. This seems to imply that the glitch was fixed for the host.
However, the atlas was left within 10 bullets of dieing. Hat Abhijit specced into ammo capacity in his Devestator mode, he would have killed it in that magazine.
However, Off host, the atlases died before he emptyed the magazine, and I heard ultra rapid glass sounds.
However, People who are not on the PC have complained of difficulty recreating the glitch.
Cant I just use the AP mod?
Several people have complained of a glitch involving the AP mod breaking some of the Typhoons damage bonuses.
I have counted at least 3 credable sources on this.
However, I cannot say for certain this isn't a freak occurance.
So use the AP mod at your own risk.
So we are safe from glitches if we don't use the AP mod, right?
I cannot Guarentee it.
You may loose your damage bonuses anyhow.
This gun is that glitched, from what I have heard.
But..... What If I do go for the longest magazines possible?
Well.... You aughta be fine.
Most people go ROF on devistator mode.
This cheats them 25 rounds off their magazine.
With the magazine upgrade + 80 rounds.... This should give 240, but there has been nobody willing enough to record footage of the destroyer with something other then the ROF evolution.
With 240 rounds, and no ammo powers, You should be capable of 60000 damage per magazine. (52462 if every last bullet hits armor, without ap ammo.)
However, this gun is glitched to all hell. So there is a good chance this might not happen.
In Fact, The Typhoon X, with an AR 3, Densified ammo 4-5, and AP ammo 3 on a max damage destroyer should get a rounds to kill on a gold atlas of 156. Without the double hit glitch.
The Typhoon I, with the same loadout, should need 196 rounds to kill a gold atlas, and 245 rounds to kill a platinum atlas.
The Typhoon X on a platinum atlas shoul need 195 rounds to kill with this loadout.
Reduce all shots to kill by 40% when playing off host, as the glitch will let you ride the lead wall of pain....

Do note: People have complained about the atlas doing greatly reduced, or inconsistant damage with the AP mod equipped... I feel it needs more testing, but testing takes time to schedual, especially when your testing partners timezone is 12 hours off your own.
