Someone hasn't read the balance changes.

It got nerfed.

(Disclaimer: The face is me being a smartarse... I am not happy that it was nerfed. I internally associate that smily with stepford smiling. Stepford smiling is a serious condition, and if you find yourself suffering from it, you should see a carpenter doctor and have him perscribe you a ball hammer to the face serious medication.)

Question! How much does a Typhoon X weight down a full damage specced GI?

Here's thinking of pre emptively jutting a proxy at something then waiting for the cd and firing away with cloak.

You can roughly get a base damage multiplier of 2.275 with the GI.

So......

Around 121 base damage, X 1.5 ramp up damage X 1.5 against barriers armor and shields (may be lower, according to the other testing thread)

With roughly +50% net damage spikes in a damage tactical cloak for roughly a third of your time firing, at a 15% boosted rate of fire.......

X the 1.2 bonus that proxy mine would give.......

Can I say "Holy hell damage?"

And people still play on gold. So it matters.

Well, Yeah. The problem is platinum pays more and therefore the only difficulty people will focus on. People will dismiss anything on gold like they dismissed silver. 

They can dismiss all they want.  Excluding missile glitchers, I bet more people play Gold PuGs than Platinum.  I only play platinum with friends, or the occational farm runs when credits are low.  That's about 2-3 matches a week.  The rest of my matches are all Gold runs.

And according to Fagnan most people play silver and bronze. If you want to unlock stuff at a faster rate though you have to focus on platinum. Using an example a fbwgg game takes 20 min with randoms. A fbwgp takes 22 min with randoms. The platinum pays almost double what a gold lobby does. So it is only logical that they will dismiss anything done on gold since they'll only take advice that will max their credits per hour.

Buahahhaa!! Yes Terry MINE FOR BRAINS!

There's just 1 thing though. How much does it weight? Do you actually have time to throw that proxy and then cloak? Or do you rely on proxy -> Full barrage -> Cloak in the middle for a small buff?

Well, Lord_Sirian found a little wrinke where the next two things he kills are both centurians that gives out 462 per kill, meaning it might accidently be a silver he recorded.   In any event I am about to try to duplicate his exact build/loadout on xbox.   If I can find some friends on line it should be easy to isolate an atlas.   Will post back here when I can.

Regardless of how many gold magazines it takes to do an atlas kill, it does need a massive bug fix spree...
