Well, Lord_Sirian found a little wrinke where the next two things he kills are both centurians that gives out 462 per kill, meaning it might accidently be a silver he recorded.   In any event I am about to try to duplicate his exact build/loadout on xbox.   If I can find some friends on line it should be easy to isolate an atlas.   Will post back here when I can.

Using a glitch to prove a point isn't a very good point to be making. Why not point out that the Striker can easily kill 10 Atlases with no attachments on any class with any build in a single clip if you wish to use glitches to back things up?

So with that build, it would take 268 bullets with that gun to kill an Atlas without the glitch. I'm pretty sure the max that the Typhoon can reach is 240 ammo in a single clip, which is close, but would not do this in 6 seconds. On top of that, it just wouldn't be possible on Platinum.

So yes, it is possible to take out an Atlas on gold still with a single clip, it requires a glitch...

Honestly, that stability mod is completely frivolous - I shudder to think about what you could do with a Magazine Mod in it's place.

Edit: But that's if it isn't bugged. So far I've seen so many conflicting reports of bugged mods on the Typhoon, it seems every mod or combination of mods has some problem depending on who you ask.

That one is Platinum, and he did it in about 8 seconds.

This.  The typhoon is still subpar.

You know, this glitch with the armor piercing 3 ammo makes me wonder... Was that the reason behind the first nerf to the Typhoon? It knocked it's base piercing from 1 meter to 0.25 meters. Perhaps that happened because Bioware was trying to at least make this glitch as difficult as possible to perform.

Then why does the healthbar stop moving the moment he stops firing? Also, why does it's shields go down only as each shot is fired? Also, there were no other flashes on the Atlas besides the shots fired from the Piranha and the Proxy mine. Also also, knowing that map well.. that other person would have to have something that could arc around the corner to hit from where he was.
