And this.

Lets try to divert attention away from the games faults by turning the players against each other.
Typical corporate BS. BW should go into politics.

As with most kinds of unwanted behavior it's easier to issue a punishment than to address the root cause.

It should be illegal to perma ban someone from a game. They purchased it, they have the right to play it however they want to. We never signed a TOA when we bought this game. Banning is unjust and if I ever got banned I'd want my full $60 back.

I love when peeps say this. Try reading the TOA for connecting to EA's servers. You'll have as much luck getting your 60 back as winning powerball. All cheaters should be perma-banned. I gladly report every one of them. I paid 60 bucks too to enjoy the game. Not have it ****ed up by some douche cheating.

Must be a yet another console thing.  And of course, more code will be appended into the game to supposedly fix it, which doesn't really benefit us (PC), and could even cause another series of functions to break. Image IPB

Consoles, why are you holding us back? *sigh* Image IPB

sounds like the   banning was more on the pc, side consoles cant edit stats since pc is cheaters heaven to alot players that know how to edit game files.. just as the op said

and to the one above me with the master race thing the pc is inferior to consoles since

A: you  cant play  some games unless you update hardware..which can run you more in the long run{ most kids dont understand this and or ones that actually havea good paying job  forget this part.}

b: consoles can play just about everything under sun...

so pc why are you holding back the consoles platforms

Actually you did by using the online portion of the game.

You only own a license to play the game. They can do what they like if you break their EULA.

Yeah, if you play any type of commercial online game these days you are agreeing to something that prevents you from suing.

Holy cow, looked up the invincible vorcha glitch, that is totally something you can do by accident!

You know who needs to be banned? Those damn geth hunters that can shoot behind them!

Riiiiiiiiight. So none of these people would have promoted adding to the total, because I know most people on here are saying that they'll promote twice and that's it. An extra 850 people promoting would have gone a long way.

Less than 3.5% of the required total, assuming they promoted 2 each.  Numbers aside, I'd rather fail the op rather than have cheaters helping out.

I would rather fail the op regardless. It would at least mean the next op would have a fun condition and that is worth more to me the extra medigel or equipment

While I dont glitch myself I I dont see anythig wrong with exploiting something that is already in the game. They may not have meant to put it in there BUT THEY DID PUT IT IN THERE. If they want people to stop taking advantage of that they should remove it from the game instead of making a huge fuss every time someone does it and alerting the whole community to the glitch.

For example, untill I read this I diddnt even know there was an invincible vorcha glitch. Whell guess what, I do now. Not only that but I was curious enough to look it up to make sure I hadnt done it accidentally so now I know how to do it as well.

Besides its obvious from how buggy the game is that it was rushed to release. I cant remember the last time I saw this many bugs in one game before. They really should patch it.

Then I guess if theres a bug in an ATM and someone exploits it for free money its the banks fault. Its all software.

Can you honestly tell me that if you saw an ATM spitting out 20s you would ignore it?

EDIT
On top of that if there were such a bug can you honestly tell me a bank would leave it alone for six months and just tell its customers to pretend it isnt there

Well...if I picked up those 20s, it'd probably be a good idea for me to return them.  Because ATMs usually have cameras around, and its pretty obvious that those 20s are not mine.

Maybe you'd like to take a chance at jail time for a few hundred $...but not me.

I've reported a few people in the last week, after not seeing missile glitchers for a while. I hope they got banned. The invincible vorcha glitch is something I've not heard of nor noticed anyone doing. Few people seem to use vorcha anymore since the N7 characters became available.

Never said i would pick them up. Just that I wouldnt ignore it. I would report it and you have to admit there are those that would take the money without a second thought. Besides cameras have a hard time seeing through scarves and were comparing taking money to playing a game. Lets get back on topic

As long as you enjoy the game it shoudnt matter how you play it. You payed for it after all and thats what you were given bugs and all. You can ignore the bugs or exploit them but saying you cant use them is like saying you arnt alowed to play in any difficulty other than insanity because setting the difficulty lower is chating (actual quote from a friend of mine who belives playing a game on anything less than the hardest difficulty is blasphemy )

Anyway im rambling so ill get to the point

The exploits are part of the game and making these big announcments is like pointing a big shiny light at that ATM and shouting to the community LOOK HERE YOU CAN GET FREE MONEY IF YOU WANT BUT DONT TUCH IT BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE NAUGHTY

It's a moot point. Bioware has set conditions on what is cheating and what isn't. Continuing to do something you know can get you banned is not going to garner much sympathy from most people.

.... and that sir is where the problem lies. BW is setting misinformed conditions. Developers make the game. QA's test out the bugs. Designers... never know what the h*ll they are talking about. Sales Reps lie. Tech Pubs takes forever to come up with an original thought. Supprt Reps are cannon fodder. Project managers screw up the whole process for the sake of money (and actually believe that their decisions are the best for the product). This is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).

You don't BAN someone for a game glitch unless the glitch is not fixable and has been publicly advertised as such. Temp-bans, profile purge, items taken... yes. Perma-ban for a glitch created by the development, missed by QA and released to the public is excessive. It shouldn't matter if the bug existed in SP or MP. There are plenty of bugs that existed in SPs for 1, 2 and 3 that allowed players to make the game advantageous to themselves. Did BW fix those bugs, no.

When you log onto a MP server you are expected to play within the normal parameters of the game. If not, you're punished for it. In that same respect, we as players have paid for a service that we expect to work. Players are holding up their end... BW why aren't you? Fix the glitches. Thank you

This is the real problem I have with this whole thing. You know who knows about this as a serious infraction? People who read this site. Nobody else. What portion of the online community do you think even knows about BSN, let-alone logs in regularly to read the forum?

That they STILL haven't fixed this crud is beyond bad, IMO. You can't get a platinum game now without having to scour it for glitchers. Im far more pissed at BW for doing nothing about the various issues with their game for six months (besides ban people exploiting their broken game) than I am with the glitchers ruining my plat games.
