haha, but remember, you can have max. 5 missiles per person--> count the shots before blaming anyone for glitching

Hmm, if you can't stop other people doing the glitch then other than exiting the game theres nothing you can do. I don't think you should have action against you if it is not you but then again are you gaining an advantage from others doing it? It's a tough call.

Your supposed to self report yourself of witnessing the glitch and report the cheater.
Honestly I would say just report him and leave the game since I wouldn't trust self-reporting in any game ever.

Bioware, why don't you just fix the glitches/issues with the game instead of banning people???? If there is a glitch in the game or an exploitation, some people will use it just because they can. It's completely unfair for the players of the community!! Ps I do not support the cheaters. Im not a cheater myself.

Why would you do a ban wave right before an operation? It's like you guys don't want us to ever get that extra medi-gel.

It shouldn't/doesn't take the participation of cheaters to achieve an objective

Riiiiiiiiight. So none of these people would have promoted adding to the total, because I know most people on here are saying that they'll promote twice and that's it. An extra 850 people promoting would have gone a long way.

I dont know, we could have lost nothing, we could have lost 1,700 promotions, or we could have lost 17,000 promotions by banning these guys. I don't see why Bioware gets **** hot on this RIGHT before an Operation Weekend. Bad timing.

Umm, what's the invincible Vorcha glitch? O.o

I just promoted a Vorcha all up thru from level 8 -> 20 last night, and I felt pretty damn invincible.
Like people have mentioned, a well played Vorcha will never die, amirite? ;)

It may well be ruining the game.  But if they keep banning 1000+/- people all the time, how many people are going to be lef to buy leviatha.

You think of the Bioware?
I wont be buying it (and i've bought every one so far(even Pinacle station!)).

I'm not just pouting cos i got banned.  I'm anoyed at the level of customer support i recieved!
It's a bloody joke.

Your ban removes access to the galaxy at war map,  did you know that?
Well you should if you read my last email.

Man I love the argument that BW should just fix the glitch and not ban people. I don't understand how stupid people are. DON'T CHEAT you morons. Just cause its broke and not fixed doesn't mean you exploit it! You idiots ruined Gold and Platinum now with the cheating for the rest of us and you should be banned.

Damn I wish stupidity was also a bannable offense.

So do I.  Then people like yourself would be gone.

Biofail is the one that's ruined the MP.  Blame people if it makes you feel good, but Biofail is the culprit.  I honestly can't think of another AAA title that has so little support.

I honestly can't understand the naivte of a person who would still be playing fanboi to this company at this point.  Bad enough they failed with SWTOR (lying to customers is a no-no), but they they screw up ME3 too? What a joke. Blaming players for a glitch that should have been patched 6 months ago is asinine.  Not once has Bioware explained their policies about these glitches via a splash screen in game.

Why does that matter some idiot will ask?  Because only the monster that ate Biofail would be stupid enough to ban a player from all EA games.  Reputable companies don't ban people for their coding mistakes.  Take a look at Bungie in the Halo series.  Even in their last installment, Reach, MP bugs existsed.  Instead of banning people for them, they simply patched them one by one as threads were posted about them.  Which is how a lot of companies handle it; the right way to handle mistakes the company made is to correct them.

I laugh at people that simply clap their hands at Biofails handling of this fiasco.  It's been nothing short of appaling.  No one cares how much it costs to patch the game.  No one cares how difficult it is.  No one cares what the excuses are.  Biofail chose to develop and release a AAA title, and then chose to fail to support it properly, and then failed to even communicate about it.

And you want to make excuses, and blame the players?  Lol no wonder this game is dying.

Whenever a user attempts to try to switch between guns and rockets then they will have to load up a missile before firing the rocket (besides when in the military have you ever seen someone running around with a pre-loaded missile launcher?).

You need to google LAW and/or AT4 as preloaded one-shot disposable unguided launchers have been common since the 1960's.

You guys... Make me smile every time...

If something an be exploited outside of the boundary of the law and ethic you think is cool and ok and the company must fix it...

So, why you do not ask Ford, Gm, Toyota and all the other company in the world to stop making cars that can exceed any possible limit in the street.

Ethic is YOUR responsibility......

Teach that to your children...

BRAVO!
Well said.
The only reason some people are still 'happy' with Bioware is that they havnt been on the recieving end of their BS customer support.

Ford or Toyota dont come and take away your car, period! Let alone with out telling you why.

Whats more we're talking about a bloody computer game, not some "boundary of the law and ethic" !
Keep things in perspective.  Teach that to your kids.

Steej, ethic is universal, you have it, use it teach it or you don't.

Yes, Toyota does not get you car away, but "you" killed someone I know because you where driving outside of those boundaries...

And, the police can relocate your driver license... You know that right?

Your an idiot.  You want to argue comparative morality (see ethics), and expect people to agree with you on the internet?  Wow...  I don't even know what to say to that much fail.

Let's not even get started about your failed car analogy, which ignored the fact that speedlimits are different in different places, and that speed limits only apply (in the US) to government roads.  Not private property or tracks.

It is amazing to me that you even bothered to hit that reply button.  You had to know how dumb you would look.

EDIT: I had to hit the edit key and keep going.

Do you even understand what the word ethics means?  Obviously not.  Not really.  You practice a dozen different ethnic codes every year.  One for work, one for social arenas (like eating out), etc.  You MEANT to say morals. Morality is a personal code that tends to be fixed, unchanging and immutable, whereas ethics are something you practice that are usually other-dependent.

Are you really so naive that you think just because you believe something everyone else does too?  Do you actually think everyone shares the same moral code you do?  What an asinine belief.

Geeze the ignorance here is amazing.

For an obvious intelligent person, the ignorance seems to belong to you. Apparently you need to split hairs or twist the argument to suit your needs. Whether or not you wish to debate the terms 'morality' or 'ethics', the choice to take advantage of a well known exploit still lies with the user. Personal responsibility its called.

I'll stipulate that Bioware, as a company, is responsilble for fixing its product, however, that does not free the user to take advantage of said product's failures. You signed an agreement with them, and when you decided to cheat, you broke that agreement making any argument you may have, null and void.

Any intelligent person knows, that once you lay your 60 bucks out, all you get is a game. No where, does it state that the company is responsible for maintaining its product after you purchase it. They do work on it, so that any future products by them will be bought by their current customer base and by word of mouth by those happy customers, other people will purchase it as well.

Ah got it.  You have no rebuttle and are clearly feeling embarassed so you create a strawman argument.

Nice try.  You still made an ass out of yourself.  Know what your talking about next time so your betters don't have to correct you.

*Yawn*

Reading comprehension is for cool kids dude.  Nowhere did I argue that cheating is right.  I would already be banned if I engaged in those behaviours.

The problem I have isn't with the players though.  The problem is with the failure of a company to patch potentially game breaking glitches for more than 6 months.  You want to argue that I'm CONDONING cheating because I'm CONDEMNING a company?

Nice try.  Any intelligent person knows to read before they type.

Ethics, also known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior.[1]

Yep, I know what I'm talking about.

Exploiting the SP with mod on the computer is equivalent to your car-track analogy, is your fun, your choice and you're alone in that. Have fun.

Exploiting the extra speed of the car in a normal residential street if wrong/outside of the boundaries of the law.

The choice to follow the law is entirely yours. What's right or wrong could be personal or it belong to the society as a whole, regardless, if you decide to infring a rule, you also should be willing to accept the responsability of your choice.... That for a videogame came in a form of a ban...
