Because Miranda closely resembles the woman in the art films I love so much.

Easily. The ability to reproduce the same effect without dying day after day. Doesn't matter if you had it great and then died, because then you're dead and **** doesn't matter. Dead brain matter doesn't have the ability to recall the most awesome time ever beyond death.
Tali, because Tali. Cute, and not overbearing like some of the other love interests in the series. Also, with you from the beginning so there's time to build familiarity rather than meet-once-and-throw-away-after-sexy-time types.

Why ? I love her character development, from the ice queen to the carring and passionate women.

In ME2, Miranda because she's hot and my Shep wanted to get laid.
In ME3, Kaidan because he's my favourite character and my Shep trusts he will always watch his back (pun intended).
In my non cannon ones, Steve and Samantha. Steve for his story and flirty comments and Samantha for her accent and her sex scene lol. I also romanced Liara as a lesbian but she doesn't count, since she died on the collector base...rip.
