I don't have the urge to buy it I just don't which is wierd because I liked the dlc for me2 and me1 but after the ending mess and the fallout that came with it.

I think it may be a trust issue over will it be worth it.  I haven't played the campaighn after my first and only play through not even for ec (I youtubed ec waste of two gigs on my hard drive) and I don't want to go through it again because of the end.

So I ask the bsn community do you think leviathan will be worth it.

I don't know if it'll be worth it.

We'll find out on Tuesday.

Me, I'll be one of the BSN's guinea pigs and buy it.

Maybe. I'll definitely come here and make sure it's not utter disappointment like the ending, but I doubt it will be bad. BioWare is probably working under immense pressure, both from themselves and EA to, well, not make crap anymore.

So just wait for the guinea pigs' feedback.

I dunno, I think so, but I kinda want to read a review or two. TBH I;m not too excited about Omega, so I don't know if I'd want to save my 800 points or not. Will see.

Not until at least a week after it's out, and even then I might not if doesn't bring enough to the table to make up for the ending. So probably not. I'll never buy a Bioware product without ensuring it's truly worth the price they ask for it again.

I look at the eggs before I buy them from the supermarket too.

Generally I trust an angry joe review to a ign or gamespot review because he isn't getting paid to do it so it is a more unbiased opinion.

I'm going to buy it, because I liked the game, but I don't know if it would actually be worth it if you really hated the ending. If I were in that position I'd wait until there were reviews about it on BSN, maybe watch a few youtube videos.

There is a problem I can see with this, namely, you might really enjoy it but don't try it because the reviewers are strongly biased against the DLC to begin with, or nitpick it to death.  But then you have to ask yourself if you really want to give Bioware more money. If you really feel betrayed by them, why continue to throw your money at them? I probably wouldn't.

The main problem was, based on Mass Effect 1, and 2 I was expecting Mass Effect 3 to meet a certain standard, therefore I pre-ordered believing Bioware to be up to the task of meeting the standard they had set for themselves. They weren't. Therefore I no longer trust them. I don't really like IGN or Gamestop, either I generally go with Angry Joe for the same reasons, and I might watch a few more videos that are walkthroughs for it.

So true I just bought the ultimate edition of dragon age origins used at game stop one to save money and two working around feeding the beast more credit chits.

I told Mike to bring the squad back with new content, and he did. So I will purchase it on Tuesday.

It has what I wanted, so it's worth it to me.

If I were in this position, I'd probably go to walkthroughs over reviews.  I don't trust most reviewers to be level-headed, and Angry Joe strikes me as, well, too angry to give an analysis that is likely to reflect my own tastes.  A good walkthrough is going to cover a lot of questions about how fun the gameplay looks, and for plot details you can always check the mass effect wikia.  That, or I'd rely on word of mouth.

No.

For my experience of the game it feels like there is little to no point. In a way, I think it would actually be a little depressing for me to go back into.

I'm really jealous of the people who are excited for it though. Best of luck. I hope it's fun.

This is true. I remember getting excited for BDTS and LOTSB. Now it's just like "Levvy DLC, okay, maybe."

Remember the dayone dlc javik that we had to pay ten bucks for instead of him being on the disc or even just a buy the game game new and get him free deal. I blame EA for that one and as for bioware pput your foot down don't take it anymore follow bungie's example.

So for me dlc does not make me as happy as it used to but makes me skeptical and suspicious in general.
