I'll take a look at the trailers and see what everyone else thinks of it, but even if everyone starts singing its praises I doubt I'll buy it. I'd rather put my points towards something I might use: maybe I'll buy more 'You Don't Know Jack' rounds.
Also if Cerberus is involved and either kills or is behind the Leviathian, well that'd just be the final cherry on top wouldn't it.

Yeah plus the most boring pointless interchangeable fetch quests with no enemies to fight no moral riddle to solve and very little in the way of story but me3 was rushed given another year and the story might be completely different.nevar00 wrote...
Probably not. I've honestly lost all interest in ME 3. Looking back at it the ending isn't even the only problem, it just isn't that good of a game all around. I played through both ME 1 and 2 a good 7 times each: ME 3 I made it half-way through a second playthrough and got bored. I think the big issues are the ending but also decisions not mattering (nearly all side missions as well as the Collector Base, Rachni, etc), and taking all RPG elements away. Yes the action is a bit more polished but the game comes off like a basic level-to-level game now. There's no exploration, you do all the levels in a set order and there aren't many side quests (outside of those Cerberus missions where they just slap troops in multiplayer maps). Also, quite honestly, it's poorly written, and I'm not just looking at the ending. The whole idea of the Crucible was really dumb to begin with. It's a decent game but I really wish I hadn't bothered with the Collector's Edition now.

I missed exploration thats a big part of science fiction "to boldy go where no man has gone before".
I would bet that matt stone and trey parker could write a better story they write south park on the fly same with the tony award winning the book of mormon play and they are making a turn based rpg south park game so wait and see my money will more likely go to that than any me3 dlc coming out soon.

yeah mass effect is on its death bed now as much as I would wish it not this will always huant bioware's reputation same as joining EA and dragon age 2 one more bad game and I think they will just be done maybe even take most of EA customers that are rpg fans with them and leviathan sales may determine bioware's future as far as predictable sales go.fbsjbvbakvb wrote...
Maybe if the urge to play again hit me again, which it hasn't since I tried EC in June. Whatever it gives me, I know the game and trilogy is over so it will just add more explanations to beings that are far "beyond our comprehension".
This will be bioware's first paid single player dlc not intended to be on the disc for me3 after the whole ending mess so sales alone I predict will not break even as far as develepmont costs go and every buisness needs money to operate so hopefully they can make enough off leviathan.
Also anyone else finds it wierd that almost every sci fi series uses greek mythology for naming objects, enemies and viehcles.

That might change with the Leviathan DLC. One of bioware's interviews that the team wanted to add the exploration, but didn't have time to implement it.

My suspicions are that they will either: call it quits, because no one is interested in ME3 anymore therefore the cash cow has run out. No more Mass Effect.jokey javik wrote...
Okay a lot of people here seem like they will just you tube it well it was a issue of trust easy to lose but hard to gain again but let me pose another question after the first week of sales for the dlc if these sales are to low what will EA do we know they are impatient when it comes to cashing out so they may make hasty decisions, odd yet at the same time interesting to see what they do.
Or: they'll figure out that maybe there's another reason, that people still weren't satisfied with the endings, and that's where their focus should be.
Considering that a bit of the 'we want better endings' movement has died down, it's obvious which is probable. But it's not like I haven't been wrong before.

Seeing as the ending is "set in stone", anything 'pre-ending' is entirely MOOT!
Buy what now?

So you'll buy it when this post-ending dlc is released? Because if you do it before, they don't really have to do anything seeing as how you've given them the money.insomniac13 wrote...
