Then you'll most likely will be watching a whole play through of ME3 to see all of the added content thats scattered around.

rofl whut

2 levels are added to the Citadel other then the new planet system filled with missions, weapons, and gear.  Also there is added dialogue other then the Leviathan based dialogue with the Reaper AI.

Enjoy watching a whole ME3 walkthrough to experience all of the new content.

I don't consider Bioware DLC to offer value at release prices. If it ever went on sale, I'd consider it. But Bioware DLC never goes on sale.

Thats like saying that Betheseda DLC isn't reasonable and long.

I look forward to watching highlights on Youtube.

Until those God awful endings are fixed, Bioware has had quite enough of my money.

Yet you're still here, which means you must like the endings.

Coming from a man who has bought all ME3 dlc on day one, absolutely no chance i'll buy it on Tuesday. If they fix the endings sometime down the road, i'll go back and buy all the dlcs i miss. I can't play 10 minutes of SP without thinking about the crap endings. On the bright side, i really enjoy the MP portion and have more than got my 60 bucks worth out of it.

It sounds like you haven't played ME1 and ME2 based on how they had average endings and their DLC add-ons didn't change the endings.

Byrdman wrote...

New endings? No? Then no

I guess you haven't listened to Bioware since the EC announcement.

I will just trust user reviews on this. No first day for me.

Thats like using Metacritic as a reliable source for user reviews.  There's usually more bias in users then critics.

It's a pointless purchase.
Buy Gears of war 3 if you want more gameplay.

Have you played ME1 and ME2?

Most likely.

I'll check the BSN tomorrow while I'm at work and, unless the reaction is completely negative, I'll download it that night when I get home.

I have a ME3 playthrough that hasn't gotten very far yet (just did Sur'kesh and went back to the Citadel) so it should be interesting to see how it fits into the game.

What would I need more useless war assets for? I can already get the 'good' ending by myself..

Hey, if Leviathan provided assets needed to get a an actual good ending, I might consider buying it. Image IPB

I see nothing wrog with war assets being added because it adds more variation in ME3 by not getting a full game completetion of ME3.

I wont, simply because bioware said there will be no new endings, while this could mean many things, i seriously doubt that any dlc will add to the games overall story, while im sure it will have some fun action, and some cool info on the reapers, unless it gives me something post breath, im really not all the interested in dlc that is just stuck in the somewhere in the middle of the game. I love mass effect but i refuse to spend money on more or less filler. And yes i know , it will expand on the reapers and such and have the meaning of life in it. But whatever, i think anything that expands on reapers, or the story should have been in the game for day one, this is little more then to get more money out of us. Sure thats fine and all but im not wasting any more money, until the do something about those miserable endings, then maybe we will see.

If it has a way to adjust the ending so that Refuse can be successful and/or Destroy won't sacrifice EDI and the Geth, absolutely I will buy it. If not, then no, I won't buy it. This will be true of any and all future DLCs, as well. Until there is a minimally successful ending to ME3, I'm not spending more money on this franchise.

I wonder how many people have played the DLC in ME1 and ME2 based on how they didn't change their endings.

Refuse won't be successful based on how you deny choice.  EDI and the Geth would need to get an overhaul to remove all of the Reaper tech to "try" to survive from Destroy.

The "end of the trilogy" point is null and void here especially when DLC is being talked about.

ME1 and ME2 had satisfactory endings to begin with.

Bioware, for the first time in my Mass Effect experience, I'm actually hesitant to buy any future SP DLC, and haven't jumped on the weapons pack either.

For me, it matters what meaning Leviathan has within story and not just in "my experience/journey" of it, as with all future SP DLC. Not much hope but keepin my eyes open.

I imagine I'll pick up the DLC and hopefully it'll be worth the ten dollar price tag. Mind you, the only reason I'm doing this at all is thanks to the EC retcon: had that not happened I would never have purchased anything ME related ever again. I suppose in the sense of raw economics, that's a win for Bioware. I do find however the split in opinion here to be expected and unfortunate; personally, I can appreciate both sides of the argument.

of course I will get it. DLC is to add more content. It doesnt matter if the endings are not good, the dlc is more gameplay. I understand if you hated everything about ME3, but 90% of you say it is because of the endings, which is silly.

I'm gonna buy it, but how good (or otherwise) I find it to be will determine whether I'll have an interest in any other DLC down the line
