I'm new here, so I don't know if this is the right place to ask this.


But I'm having a problem enabling the console for DA:O for PC. I purchased it through Origin and I have windows 7. I've researched it and came to the wiki that instructed me what to do. I followed as best as I could and still can't manage to get it working. When I edited my daorigin.exe shortcut like it told me to, my game stopped working. I was unable to hit play or configure and I had to uninstall it.

I'm re-installing it again, but I'm at a lost. What am I doing wrong? Am I following Vista instructions or is there a trick to doing it? I know you guys get a lot of these threads, I've seen them when I was looking for clue as to what I did wrong but none of them were related to my certain issue.

If anyone can help, I would be thankful.
