- Pop Rock (some)
- Heavy Metal (some)

The rest depends on the song/artist. I usually avoid Rap because I can't relate to it, and Country music is generally depressing unless you play it backwards (to get your dog back, your tractor back, your truck back, your girl back, your house back, your dignity back, etc.)

Wouldn't say I'm a music lover, but I enjoy it while driving and working.

Mostly melodic metal (power, symphonic etc) mostly because I tend to find a few bands to be inventive when they will combine electric guitars with fiddles, violins, flutes, pianos and the like which puts more dimensions to the music and melodies... despite this I'm not a very big fan of progressive metal.
Still I enjoy metal and rock without this too... I also find metal, rock and hard-rock singers to be better than most singers in other genres... it isn't all about screaming and they can be very versatile in their singing really.

I could still listen to otehr genres too of course if they are appealing to me... which they rarely seem to be.

Well the thing is, I actually like some early stuff like Skream and whatnot. But good luck trying to explain the difference to anyone. If there's any hint of the word dubstep they automatically assume it sounds like Skrillex.

How can you dislike rock? There's like so many types of rock....

Anyway I'll listen to anything that's well-made and artistic...Rock, Country, Rap, etc. Except for Metal. I try and try, but I don't know if I'll ever enjoy it.

What did you expect. Not calling anyone racist but isn't it funny how we focus on the sexism and profanity of Rap but adore "classics" like the LCD Beatles, Cocaine and Sex of Rolling Stones and Stooges? Funny.
