Guys, seriously, move on. The EC did a good enough job for me to close the chapter on the ME saga. It's no metal gear ending, but it will have to do.

Do people actually believe in the IT still?

I guess people are just bigger fans than you are

Prior to the ME3 release, I was lurking one of those websites that should not be named (great source, right?). There was a thread that was started by an Anon who claimed to be close to Bioware's "inner circle." They claimed that there would be a series of DLCs released that all fed into the Leviathan story arch. According to the thread, Leviathan would have the ability to "override" the consciousness of whomever was in contact with it, very similar to the way Harbinger would assume control over the Collectors.
According to the claim, at the end of ME3, Leviathan was overriding Shep's consciousness for reasons that I do not remember (maybe an act of rebellion against the reapers?). For post ME3 DLC, if Shep "survived," then Leviathan would be in total control of Shep's body. If Shep did not make it, then Leviathan would have taken control of some unknown schmuck. From what I remember of the post, If Shep survived and the LI survived, then the LI would have a big role in the DLC along with the surviving Normandy crew. Regardless of the body in Leviathan's possession, the DLC will involve hunting Leviathan down and killing it.
Anyway, the details are sketchy because I honestly don't remember the full content of the thread (it was in late 2011), and I didn't think to screencap it because at the time I thought it was all a just a crock of troll. But now that the Leviathan DLC is releasing.... Hmmmmm......

Given the fanbase attitude, this will be scraped just like the dragonage 2 expansion.
Yes, I'm sure the expansion was scrapped due to the fans and not EA wanting to push DA3 multiplayer.

Yeah, people didn't want to buy the dlc. Hell, I was one of the people who liked dragonage 2 and I didn't even know there was dlc for it.
A lack of sales = things getting scrapped and resources relocated.
And EA is a company who would just cut a project off halfway if it doesn't look like it will be an absolute flood of cash.

Proud to say I bought all the Dragon Age 2 dlc,
Legacy was awesome.
Mark of the Assassin was fun too.. those Orlesians
I'm not, not buying Leviathan because "OmGeNdinGz!"
I'm not buying it simply because I am wary of their writing capabilities and I can see this doing nothing but adding cool "movie-like" cinematics" while sacrificing the narrative.
And no amount of said trailer showcasing nothing but said movie-like cinematics, will make me change my mind.
Nope, for a first. I will need a review of this dlc before I buy it. That's where you come in, BSN

I'm not accusing him of lying, but this sounds so illogical is not even funny. First and foremost Bioware has said repeatedly they won't make any more DLC having to do with the ending or post ending DLC.
Then this guy claims he knows a source that works inside Bioware that contributed to the IT and is now telling him about this post-ending DLC which is suppose to be super secret, but for whatever reason, an employee is going to let this guy know so that he can say it on his video. He then says "I don't want to reveal who this information came from" because it might get the employee in trouble, but he's perfectly fine talking about it on his video, this is absurd.
Edit-Chris Priestly, has already confirmed it's false, I just figured this out.
This Clevernoobnetwork guy has lost all credibility for me.

Do you sincerely think that anyone will really even give a **** by that point? That people will still be waiting with baited breath and anticipation to jump on it when a year down the road with Guild Wars 2, the new Artorias DLC for Darksouls, AC3 and god knows how many other games/DLC for those games coming out?
Mass Effect 3 has been largely forgotten by all but the most ardent of fans and the most hopeful for a real fix, but at Q1 of next year this will be largely over and done with and no one save for those already happy will really give a **** about some new ME3 DLC

I'm not only going to wait to purchase until I hear about this DLC from fans, but I'm really thinking about waiting until all future DLCs are released before I purchase them, if ever. I've got other games to keep me busy anyway.Jade8aby88 wrote...

If you do that then you're telling Bioware it's okay to half ass games.

Not if you never buy any more of their games after that.

I'm sure they'd be more than happy to part ways with you after you spend $20+ on DLC.
