I'm actually not surprised by this rumor.

When the Extended Cut was released, I was always very confused by it’s size; 1.85gb. It is, to date, the largest DLC released for the series, eclipsing even Lair of the Shadow Broker. A few minutes of extra cutscenes, dialogue, and a few variable slideshow images didn’t seem enough to justify this size, not when Broker includes significantly more dialogue, new maps and new gameplay scenarios. There is, I believe, much that is hidden within the depths of the Extended Cut. Leviathan will be released this week, and we know that it will include new dialogue with the Catalyst and one or two extra cinematics for the ending. Given that we cannot reasonably account for the Extended Cut’s enormous size, I think it’s possible that these additions have already been implemented, and that Leviathan’s release will simply unlock them. If this is true, then the chances of further content being locked away for subsequent DLC to unlock is extremely high. If Project X is true, and that BioWare will offer a meaty expansion to the ending in favor of the Indoctrination Theory, then how we view the game will be thrown on it’s head.

We actually can. For some reason, the Extended Cut's files were uncompressed, when, as far as I'm aware, DLC files are usually compressed. That's why Shadow Broker was so much smaller.

nah if there was something hidden on EC DLC the pc gaming people who likes programming would have found out something since the dlc is uncompressed

This is 100% false.

1) FMV's and Audio are large
2) Most of the original ending had to be redundantly repackaged in EC redundantly .

Chris said it's not true. Every employee whose talked says theres no post ending DLC nor are they changing it.

Dream theory is dead.

I believe this is correct. Only with one difference.

This information is not a leak. It was created and published by BW itseft to get attention of people who put ME3 to the unreachable place or deleted it from PCs.

The purpose is, creating a s**t-storm about the endings once again and let players play ME3 once again with new character or save bla bla. You name it.

That was a nice tactic BW, but i wont eat it after EC fail, sorry.

ME3 is done people, i know you spent a fortune to the series, spent your hours on it like me, but it's over. Do what i did, Logout the forum and move on. Not even Leviathan will change it, because there's no purpose to play the game again after endings. BW knows this and they're creating artificial discussion on the forums, people will play the same **** again for this 'Project X' BS but in the end, it wont happen.

hmmm clear enough. Thanks Chris, it´s good, that you clearify this before it gets his own Dynamics.

hmm, it just seems like corporate suicide to release a product and then make people pay for a proper ending a year later. But then again Broken Steel didn't cause too much kerfluffle

True. Although, to my knowledge, Bethesda didn't attempt to defend the ending of Fallout 3 with nonsense about 'artistic integrity'. They just listened to the customer complaints and then did the right thing, fan-wise and business-wise, and fixed it with a retcon.

yes creating false rumors will gain BW an epic amount of prestige, which it already has gained by me3

furthermore they deny openly that there will be  more ending dlc, which can only mean  that there acually iz more ending dlc, because yes means no, moon means jupiter and i am the queen of kampikistan

this absolute valid tactic is not going to work on you because of the EC?
Bioware you hear it! you need better tactics to get people who state that me3 is dead in the official forum of me3 , 6 months after release, back into your boat!

IF a post-breath DLC is in the works, that makes the Destroy ending cannon, because in both the others, Shephard clearly dies. Only the destroy ending provides any chance for extended play even after the EC dialogs. I secretly hope for that, but openly admit it is a slim to none chance. However, IF it were to come to pass, it might help them sell previous DLC since it now makes more sense to have extra missions that would effect post DLC game play.

Actually, post ending DLC is not technically effecting the endings at all, much like DO:awaking did NOT affect the original DO ending, but extended the story. So, it is still VERY possible to have POST ENDING DLC and NOT change the current endings. And given how BIOWARE has not always told its employees the full story at all times, your comment reminds me of the IRAQI general who keep saying "There are not Americans in Bagdad", when you can clearly see tanks rolling down the street in the background. Quite frankly, I have to idea who is telling the truth at BW anymore, which is sad.

It could be true and it could be false. Mass Effect 3 DLC was leaked before the game came out. BW already denied this... But thats part of their job... deny everything unannounced.

So you can have post ending DLC if somebody chose Refusal?  Are we playing a couple of centuries in the future?  As a yahg?  Maybe we'll be a Reaper?  Post ending has to be able to take any possible ending into consideration.  Unlike Awakening, where the US ending is supported with an Orlesian Warden, there is no Orlesian Warden to sub in for the galaxy's advanced races in a Refusal ending.  Since there are a lot of posters running around claiming that Refusal is the Paragon choice, and that they chose it accordingly, they may be a bit angrier to find out they've been disregarded if one of the other endings is chosen.

There. All your choices of the other 2 games matter now. I fixed it. Now I'm going to go make a new shep on ME1, while lighting off red, blue and green fireworks, figure out which one was the brightest, and blow up the galaxy in that color at the end.

So to sum up. Clevernoob, a hardcore ITer desperate for IT DLC gets an information from another hardcore ITer who claims to have sources at Bioware that there's an IT DLC coming.

Well, that confirms it. Project X is the real deal.

Wasn't actually interested in this Project X business, but with Chris basically telling us it's real I'll have to look into it.

U know that does say something. The only time I see a real "Bioware" marker on a thread is for a closed thread but even then it is just mods like stan or ranimrahel.

The Multiplayer thread is filled with bioware markers...:crying:

The General discussion has a few.

But then again. the minute a Bioware rep posts in here the fans jump on it and either attack, cheer, or call that person a liar.

Srsly. Bioware does not like posting much here to discuss with us because in the end there is still a bit too much hate in the air. And to be called a liar after trying to talk to your fans would be hard to take. Chris has given me no reason not to believe him yet (Mac and Casey have but not chris)

IDK. I am not defending Bioware, I just think it is unfortunate this whole thing happend.:(

I'm a big supporter of IT, there's just too much evidence that supports it, even with the EC..."SO BE IT," anyone? It is really unfortunate that Mr. Priestly shot down this whole project X speculation, I could see Drew Karpyshyn writing an ending that would be beyond epic, including a much needed proper confrontation with Harbinger after the indoctrination attempt.
