Cultist, you basicly justify killing her just for "being annoying and supporting the Chantry". Your own words. Then you started talking about it being a Dark Fantasy.

Don't now trys to twist it saying you only wanted an OPTION, because you were justifying TAKING the option, not having it.

And I stand with my opinion - yes, I think it is perfectly reasonable to to kill those characters who annoy you or support some ideas/people/factions you don't like.
But you took my statement to extremes, like playing for the sake of killing each and every NPC possible.

Oh man, the Fanatic behaviour of Leliana loyalists have climbed to new heights. When they cant argue with logic theyend up saying- "hey you cant write english, im shakespeare's niece my englash is unparallel" and also "they are just theory" and what about "Bioware hasnt closed this thread, oh the horror". Absolutely petty and unbelievable. I will be patient for now becoz when BW ends up retconning Fenris and Anders it will be their turn to rant.

This thread was specifically opened so that Bioware can make our origin decision count and if not add an option to gut her in DA 3. I tried to justify it but Lo, people are so angry that they want a purely argumentative thread closed. I hope BW does make Leliana an antagonist of DA 3, ill pay $10000 for that, pride demands so.

I mean really opposing an argument is one thing but i have heard nothing concrete in defense of Leliana. The only solid defense i heard were from neutrals, Avnos and Whykikyou. From the Leliana fans absolutely nothing. They fanaticism has reached new heights really.
They are happy now that BW has overturned the choice of killing her but when they hear Loghain is retconned i wonder how they will react.

Actually she isn't. You can try to guess who is my favorite DA:O character tough.

And what are you talking about evidence, think for a while seriouly please:
1)She never took the initiation
2)When the warden slew the archdemon she started telling everyone about the ashes, and soon becomes very important in the chantry.
3) Its your love for the character that is making you immune to facts and logic.

1) so what? She sleft with the warden before she took it. She way a lay sister
2) So? She is religious and ashes are important to her...and to most of TheDas. You might as well ask a sceintists to not mention discovering Higgs soson.
3) go ahead an prove it.

You have yet to prive any concrete fact.

However big a thread is it can only show the fans view not the BW staff's view. You really think the fans in the BSN are the only buyers in the world? If so, then you maybe in for a surprise. Bioware are known for twisting plots. Just dont rant if something in DA 3 happens that you Leliana fans dont want. Just make sure you do not say, " Poor writing making the most 'popular' character into a villain, Bioware writers s**ck". Bioware got a bad treatment for the illusive man for making him the villain, and BSN blamed BW for awful writing. The fact is that using the IM was a very good idea, but BSN cracked down on BW for turing a popular character into a villain. It was petty and outright shameful. So, i repeat dont crack down on BW if they make Leliana the antagonist in DA 3.

Teh displeasure about TIM and Cerberus was not because he was an antagonist - but because it was done so badly and tastesly. And because they flat out lied (No, TIM is not indoctrinated. Defninately, certanlty not!).
TIM and Cerberus are a good example or bad writing, as the character and the entire organization were made falt, uninteresting and one dimensional.

The defense rests because the prosecuation has failed to bring forth anything of value and is actually making a mockery of itself. There's not really much for us to do.

And the defense party forgot to bring their evidence and testimonies to the court because they were busy tring to resurrect the criminal Leliana. How smart of them!Image IPB

Oh and how many were in defense of Leliana- u, mousetalker, chris and milan 92. Only 4. There were more than 15 psters who supported the option to kill her.

Ah so u have proven that u are better than Mass effect writers why didnt they hire than u than(probably coz u wud have brought Leliana in Mass effect). And if you are saying TIM was not indoctrinated, i have 2 advices- 1)Play ME 3 again and pay attention to the game. 2) Go to a doctor seriously and tell him to bang it, hopefully you recover from your Short term memory Syndrom. I hope ur reports are good.

ALERT: The lawyer in defense of Ms. Leliana has a problem with understanding simple English. Should i bring a translator Mr. as slippy as a  "Lotion" Soronnar

"Or's" and "if's" aren't facts, they are possibilities from a wide range of outcomes.

1) People are religious but do not want to be restrained by the red-lines of religion. She wants to worship the maker her own way? So be it.

2) A Bard on the run and she wants to publicize herself? Everything about her character points to a big fat no. First, her wicked side, her bard side. Being a bard means manipulating people, it means hiding in the shadows, playing false. Wanting to become famous is the last thing a bard should want. Second, her good side. A generous soul, who sticks to the Maker, and yet she wants fame? That's the opposite of pious.

3) You haven't proven anything. You're dislike for the character will have similar effects to his fondness of the character. You're restricted to one side of the coin.

Me? I prefer Shale and Sten.

Okay, I'll jump in for a moment.

1) Leliana by her own admission has her own ideas about the Maker that don't match up with Chantry doctrine.  That seems a far more likely reason than some conspiracy theory that clashes with every single presentation of her within the game.

2) I'd love to see you prove that.

3) Not worth a dignified response.

Well if my accusations are wrong why didnt a moderator lock this thread despite the number of times Leliana fans reported this thread. Leliana will be in DA 3, and will we have an option to kill her, probably in a battle where we have to choose which side the inquisitor takes.
1) The mages
2)The Templars
3)The Chantry(aka Leliana)

Just dont get angry at biooware for giving us the option to have Leliana as a boss. The time they tried that the BSN cracked down.*coughs*TIM*coughs

. Moderators lock threads for many reasons but one poster being wrong isn't one of them.  TIM, even though I never liked him, got turned from a semi-interesting gray character into a fairly dumb antagonist.  I don't have a problem with him being an antagonist, but the way they did it was just bad.  If they did that to Leliana I would be angry.  Leliana dying in defense of the chantry?  That could actually work while maintaining character integrity.

Listen my man, if bioware continues to ignore player decisions thats the knid of response they will get. Leliana was supposed to be dead, Bioware did not allow me to import this choice. Tell me how you will feel if somebody you hate and killed gets retconned. Maybe Loghain and Fenris. BW ignoring player choices is a big signal of what we are going to see in the future. You will say that the choice i made is insignificant, but slowly more control will be taken from us slowly. As u said, baby steps.

Oh and the thousands of comments from people who enjoyed gutting Anders was very healthy and tasty too.

Well, yeah.. if they gave us an option to kill that character, they shouldn't just bring her back and stuff.

My dislike for Mr. Gaider is limitless.
