Not only do I hope there isn't an option to kill her, I hope she does a Tallis and forcibly takes up a party slot.

As long as she stays as an archer

what on earth is it on BSN that makes people want to kill the characters they don't like so much? I mean damn, there's characters I don't like in Bioware's games but I don't try to kill them, I just roll my eyes and try to ignore the things they say.

In DA:O i killed Liliana, Alistair(executed), Morrigan(OP Dagger), Sten(L4D), Wynne, Zevrann, and even killed myself at the end (US ending)

In DA2 - i killed Anders (again, after Awakening), Fenris (sold to slavery, killed his personality), Merill, wanted Sebastian too, but the scum left.

Now i am comming to Dragon Age 3, armed with the Mandate of Inquisition, only one thing is guaranteed - that there will be a lots of friendly NPCs dead, once i am done.

If Bioware will ever make a "Companion's Murderer" achievement, you'll achieve it easily :P.
Did you kill some other companions in Awakening, or only Anders?

IMO Leiliana should return to be ginger instead of the fake red that she has in DA2 :<.

But Leliana is fine, only a little annoying with her preaching. But preaching characters and Bioware go hand in hand, Wynne, Anders, Merrill, Aveline, Fenris, Alistair...etc. Pretty much every character preaches to you about what you should and shouldn't do.

Are you kidding, the way leliana said maker this maker that absolutely destroyed my sanity for 3 days. And the biggest fact is that she is a hypocrite. if it was Cullen i wud have accepted him, but leliana  is a sucker hypocrite. Any way i have nothing against Chantry, why all the hate what"d they do? They wanted to give mages freedom, but templars thought they are above the maker and wanted to kill the mages. ITS the templars that must burn not the chantry.

This is coming from a pro-mage.

There should be various NPCs. Preachers, hypocrites, liars, heroes, fanatics, nigilists, cowards and so on. I was talking about staying dead after PC once killed them.

I tried Justice - but even if i side with Baroness i can't kill it  (was Blood Mage in DA1, and Force Mage/Spirit Healer in DA2, the Amell's girls got it in family  )

Tried also Velana but she just disappears, and i know Sigurn could be killed at Vigil's defense, but i didn't made it. Oghren is immune to insults so you can't even get into arguments with him. At least i manage to kill Anders, and execute Nathaniel.

She says that she has seen "visions" of the maker when andraste is the only one who saw him. Even the guardian told that she is being "religious" to make her more important. She needs the dagger at her back seriusly

Or Andraste was just an apostate abomination where the only voice she heard was the likely desire demon she was bonded with.

Are there really that many people who chose the evil option at the sacred ashes? Why is this so popular?

How do we know that only Andraste saw the Maker? Her codex entry indicates that the Maker spoke to her and offered her a place at his side (a codex entry that is derived from Justinia II's sermons). There's really a lot left to interpretation as to what actual interaction took place. Did he speak to her during her waking hours, did he speak to her in dreams, did he appear as a vision or in physical form?

Leliana speaks of a vision and a dream, which may or may not have validity. No one else was there to attest to her vision, so we have only her word to go on. If she fabricated the story, then that makes her a liar not a hypocrite, but again, we have no way, at this point in time, to know whether or not she actually experienced some sort of communication with the Maker.

So too, who's to say that there isn't anyone else in Thedas who has had a similar experience. We may not have met them yet, or uncovered their journals and records. Just because we haven't heard of any other Maker-mortal conversations doesn't mean that they haven't happened.

While it's your prerogative to want to kill the companions in your game, your argument that Leliana is a hypocrite really doesn't hold a lot of water.

Even if you accept the maker talked to andraste and not the other leading theory on andraste there is the other option where there have been many others with visions from the maker and their accountings like the books providing the evidence andraste was just an apostate abomination ended up being barbqued by the chantry or used as an alternate fuel source for burning hertics and blood mages.

Not to mention that its really the guardian who is the hypocrit (and overly judgemental) when he thinks Andraste could hear the maker yet nobody else ever has been as special of a flower as her.  In the end he is just a fanatical guardian of the chantry who realizes that if the maker interacts with more than one person then their whole claim of the maker turning his back on the world falls apart, which in return shatters one of the core beliefs of the chantry that tries to give their worship of an apostate abomination validity.

The guardian is a hypocrite..........oh i get it ur an atheist. Well then lets dance

  • Can u explain why he is surviving for thousands of years and no dont use oghren's theory as excuse. There is a tev. statue who says that the maker will come to light the fires......clearly proves that the maker exists it was the maker and not lyrium that gave the ashes powerful attribute.
  • The chantry is not a lie, if u played legacy ull find the darkspawn saying that they went to the golden city but suddenly found that it got black. This explains the chantry theory.
  • The guardian's power to see through the people's minds and reflect their pasts shows that he is no normal chantry "hypocrite" he really has maker-given powers and no he is no blood mage or he wuda used it in his fight.
  • The spirits in the gaunlet tells some of the war scene and show that Andraste was really an important figure to the maker and not some hypocrite like Leliana.
  • The guardian didnt think he knew that andraste spoke with the maker and on the other hand he cud easily see that Leliana wanted to make herself important by saying that she had visions of the maker. Leliana was unable to reply.
  • If andraste was an abomination the last thing she wud do is rebel against the Tevinter.
  • By the way, the chantry is also right about blood mages, coz these guys have the power to tear the veils.
I am patiently waiting for ur reply.

You dont get it. She LIED about it, not becoz she really had a vision but because she wanted to make herself more important. That warrants that shes a goddamn hypocrite.

The Guardian merely confronts people with their own doubts.

Leliana is not sure of her vision, because she is not actually crazy.  Her willingness to interpret her dream as a vision from the maker may ultimately come from a subconscious desire to be special and to leave the monastery, but she's certainly not lieing.
